**THE MOST DISGRACEFUL** real estate agency that one can ever experience in spite of very high agency fee (almost half a grand).
Before Foxtons, I never had to live a life where I had to move into a flat with no hot water, a washing machine covered in round of mould, and a ripped mattress with bugs around.
I have requested to remove this soiled mattress after getting my own mattress on the day of move in and it took them ten days to finally come up with a solution: to liaise with the Council on my own (with no estimated time frame and the wrong council contact at first) as this is the most 'economical' option for this 'furnished' property that they hold no liability for such removal. What a self contradictory statement.
This clearly leaves me with two options: either 1) to pay high fees for immediate removal service hire or 2) to wait for weeks for the Council to collect it. Nothing but incompetent property management service - Thank you for a huge life lesson that high price tag doesn't mean quality, though.
The team at Keaton's were extremely helpful when I recently purchased an investment property. They were happy to chase solicitors and sellers whenever it was needed. I would use them again.
Landlords, go next door!
Keatons have been nothing but useless with us from start to finish. The service they provided us was so appalling that we had to go with another agency at the end. Their competitors next door provided us with such an efficient service (at a way cheaper rate) that we really regretted having gone with them in the first place!!
Their agents are clueless. Their management team as they call it consists of one girl behind a computer who does everything wrong. We constantly had to get back to them and correct their mistakes. They even managed to lose our keys. Pure negligence.
They are only here to cash in, they don't care about anything else and they should be ashamed to charge what they charge given the service they provide.
My experience with Winkworth Shoreditch was very good thanks to Daniel. He was amazing! Daniel went extra mile to help me wherever he could - quick turnaround to show me the flat, secured the flat with the price I expected, spared his time to show me the flat again so I could have a quick measurement of the space after my offer was accepted, swift response and communication between me and the landlord, and great support to sort out issues during my settling. It was also very inspiring to see how passionate and positive he was toward his job. I gave up the other flat with loss just because I felt more comfortable and trusting with Daniel's service.
I went to view Flat 5 Analby House, 31 Boundary House on Saturday which was on the market for £475k. I was greeted by Simon D Souza ‘senior sales consultant’. I offered to pay the full asking price.
I was then harassed to show proof of cash for the purchase, I emailed them my 2 re-mortgage offers 2 flats I own outright for £474 000, showed a Bank Statement with a balance of £94000 and sent an un-blemished Experian Credit report with 17 mortgages on a property portfolio of £6.5 million pounds with every payment made without fail.
They then decided to blow my offer out with another purchaser who also offered the full asking price after me. This is highly unethical and following no protocol. They treated my mortgage offers as mortgage applications, the money is actually on offer and near ready for draw down. The other purchaser could only prove £25000, but I bet it was in £50s under the mattress.
I then made a counter offer of £478 000, but somehow they convinced the vendor that I was unlikely to have the money to complete and better to take the £475000 second offer than risk me not having the money. I believe it was Rory the branch manager to and froing with the vendor. I even offered to pay ten percent deposit next day with a 2 week completion
I hope the vendor is reading this as this agent was acting for your best interests has cost you £3000 because they had a personal issue with me buying the flat.
These bunch of monkeys wanted me to show them a stack of £50 notes in a suitcase, a re-mortgage offer is too complicated for them to understand. Its and offer and offer from a Bank an offer of £474000
The future is definitely online estate agents such as Urban Sales, why would you want to pay 2% +vat to these clowns when you can sell your property for £700.

Connor, was amazing. We have viewed 9 properties in total and Connor was by far the most friendly estate agent we have met. Extreamly polite and quick to respond when ever we needed assistance. Would highly recommend going with ludlowthompson Docklands.
THE WORST ESTATE AGENT EVER!!!!!
What a bunch of unprofessionals. I called about a property and spoke to Claire Bobie. She advised that the property was ready to be viewed and confirmed a viewing for 6.30. I also go a follow up email with viewing confirmation. No one turned up for the viewing and she did not answer my phone call either(her mobile that is). I then sent email back to her and it's been nearly a week and she has not bothered to call me back to explain herself. I had wasted my time and made a lot of effort to attend the viewing. I felt really disappointed. I won't be doing any future business with these bunch of unprofessionals again. I will also advise others to stay a away from them.
Found Victorstone in the Student fair. They don't charge huge fee's and my move in experience was smooth and efficient.
Do not trust them all the good reviews were written by the staff or fake accounts. This agency is definitely unreliable, do not be fooled by the glossy exterior...
Throughout two years I rented a flat with them and have dealt with incompetent staff.
The were very friendly until we signed and handed over the exorbitant fees...
Almost impossible to get any response to fix the most basic issues, and when we do it's all about passing the buck and delays.
They lied to me numerous times and took months and months to fix some basic problems. At the point of checkout we found ourselves fighting over lots minor issues, as they charge you for pre-existing problems and issues outside the scope of tenant responsibility.
I'm just trying to say to anyone considering using them - DON'T. This is by far the worst institution I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with
