Bought a flat through Peach Properties - Chris and Sam were absolutely fantastic. Great communication and extremely helpful.thanks very much!
Very poor service especially from Nick Hardy - wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. We have rent out a fully furnished one bedroom flat which came without bed because of a misunderstanding. Lots of issues like toilet not functioning and rats in the attic. Stay away
Ryan Thomas was not only very good at the job also we had good time conversing. Would really recommend him as a estate agent, very helpful, was there every time I needed him, solving all my questions in a very professional way and always trying to make a better deal for me.
Im moving in the new flat next week and thanks to Ryan and Morgan Randal me and my girlfriend have our dream flat.
Thanks king regards.
By far the worst customer service that I’ve ever come across. We have lived in the property for almost 2 weeks now and still have not received the correct keys. They gave us one of keys and told us we had to get more cut because we moved in late! What is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! After complaining there eventually gave us another set but then the lobby key did not work! I was informed by the landlord that she had told them that they had to get the lobby key done by a specialist key cutter, they obviously didn’t listen to a word of that. We currently still do not have keys when I messaged them about it, I was told I had to return the keys because they were a lot of money! You can understand why it’s the worst customer service I have ever come across. They did not apologise for giving us the wrong set of keys they have not said that they are going to get more cut even though it is in the contract. The complete absurdity of this whole situation irritates the hell out of me! That I can’t even get into the property that I’m paying for.
But there is more! When we moved into the property of the hot water wasn’t working! It is still not working we have to get a new boiler! They said they checked it a couple days before we move in but the way the company is managed I very much doubt they did. We also have problems with the furniture that is unusable! The table in the living room is completely wonky the chairs scrape against the wooden floor, so at the minute I’m eating my dinner on the sofa. Until my order comes through on Amazon because God knows they are not going to get any new ones. Our double bed in our room has got wheels so every time we get on it I feel like I’m dancing on ice! The shower head is completely screwed! The doors to balcony do not open!
I could probably go on for days! Yeah so a long story short you are probably best off not using this company. Save yourself the stress and knew someone else I wish I did.
5 Star service! Absolutely beautiful hotel, the history of this building with W.Churchill & even the Queen have been here. The building is stunning inside & out. With gleaming black/white checked marble flooring in the lobby, the reception tea room is elegant lobby bar lounge is so charming with original art deco accents everyone, it's designer's eye candy! Wonderful staff with exceptional service from everyone who greats you from the bell men to the staff who graciously checked my shopping bags into the cloak room and also fetched them back with graciousness. Highly recommended for a luxurious experience.
For a place that stands for impeccable service, we receive appaling level of attentiveness from the staff at the afternoon tea/ dinner service. Its the holidays and they must have been busier than usual but overwhelmed is not something I expect given their reputation. Definitely not worth the spend and time.
Tom Goddard was friendly and well informed. I haven't spent a lot of time in London, yet he was patient and helped cover several gaps in my knowledge. My experience with him was fantastic.
I worked with Max and Rachel to rent a flat. Both Max and Rachel were very nice throughout the process. A lot of paper work was involved, and one time they stayed even after their normal office hours to do the paper work and get us the move-in date we wanted.
Amazing service, I rented a room with them in no time and they are making sure all is up and running at the property.
Had bad experiences with other agencies in London before, I totally recommend this one!
Be very careful with this cheap agency they try to charge my friend to get tenants reference. they text her telling that an agency asking for reference for her and without a fee payment they wouldn’t give any reference
I have just begun my search for a property, upon my first interaction with Alex he was very in formative giving any information I needed about properties freely and promptly. He really helped me get an idea of what I was looking for by showing me a range of properties I might not have considered. I couldnt have asked for a better agent.
LudlowThompson Docklands locked us in a 2 year contract with no break clause when we asked for one year or a break clause arguing the landlord would only accept this. Now we found out they lied to both us and the landlord as we all wanted 1 year. And why did they do this? Well now that we want to change one out the two tenants in the flat they want to charge a fee of £570 for the referencing check. They've done absolutely no work to replace the tenant, we found the replacement and their referencing takes about 2 minutes. Furthermore, we want to leave this flat not because we need to move, but because of the appalling service. The fee would still be fine if they hadn't lied however, they have. Now this would also be fine if they had provided a service of adequate standards, but this was not the case.
Wardrobes and doors without handles have been in this state this since the beginning of the tenancy, even though we have requested on multiple occasions for them to be fixed. We were in fact told, they would be fixed the first week of the tenancy. A year in nothing.
We were assured the flat would be professionally cleaned before our entry into the flat. They had over a month to prepare it. This was again not the case. With greasy surfaces all over.
We spent more than two months without heating or with it rarely working, when Environmental regulations stipulate this is an urgent repair.
The faucet was leaking since the second month we entered the flat until just a month ago (I will repeat we have been in this flat for a year).
We had a mouldy wall, which made us sick for about 4 months where we repeatedly were told this was being dealt with. Again in contravention with Health and Environmental regulations.
After all these issues, they always claimed Landlord was not giving them permission to fix them. Landlord claimed she didn't even know about many of these issues and only once we contacted her were they fixed. Thus, showing the incompetence of Ludlow Thompson, who not only provide, or better not provide, a service of appalling quality, but also lie to both landlords and tenants to play them against each other.
Our landlord has now vowed she will never use their services again and so have we. To top this off we found out that even though we paid 6 months rent in advance, the landlord did not receive this quantity when we first moved in. Their modus operandi seems to be to through lies play landlords and tenants against each other to charge as many fees as they can. However, this will not be happening again with us or our landlord.
