Very professional throughout the process. We put our house for sale and it remained unsold with no offers for three months. We then switched to Ellisons and very quickly we had a couple of offers. We accepted one and the agents were very good in managing the sales process. Thanks again for a brilliant service and a very competitive pricing.
Entrusting the sale of the family home to Malcolm and Lucy of Hawes in Wimbledon was fully qualified by their commitment to both the seller and the buyer in difficult circumstances since my brother and I both live outside UK. Excellent communication and support during negotiation and completion. The highest recommendation for realistic and best support during the transaction period
We used Hawes & Co when renting our flat in Wimbledon and we were not happy with the service. The agency fee was the highest we have ever had to pay in London over the last 10 years and it was absolutely not worth it. Whenever we contacted them about issues such as extending the contract, the check out date or anything else that required an action from them reply was along the line "we contacted the landlord and there was no reply, you may want to get in touch with him yourselves". We could have waited for weeks and nothing was done until we managed to contact the landlord and ask him to email them himself. Also at the end of tenancy they deducted the check out fee from our deposit without informing us about this, and without an invoice, which is actually illegal. Avoid if you can.
Sam was helpful, professional and approachable throughout. He made renting my first property stress free. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent in Wimbledon

Poor service and rude.
It might be a seller's market, but Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward seem to treat buyers with contempt. A general level of poor service from their agent and unhelpful responses to basic enquiries about the property, made viewing a couple of flats a frustrating experience.
We recently sold our property with Knight Frank Wimbledon. Tom was our main contact and he was superbly efficient and attentive to everything required for the sale. He was personable, knowledgeable and helpful.
The rest of the team also supported us and I cannot thank them enough for helping us through the sale.
To the very end Tom was engaged with every cog related to the sale and ensured we completed. Thanks to the KF Wimbledon team I highly recommend you.
Tenacious and consistent when selling our house....it took a long time but we got there! Thanks to Tom and Diana
I can highly recommend Hawes for their excellent service. Paul Mannell, our main point of contact, was thoroughly professional, supporting the process throughout. Excellent communications, even when out of office, considerate viewing arrangements, effective liaison during negotiations with buyer on price, and eased through the contract process in the face of less than efficient solicitors. I would have no reservations in using Hawes again.
As a future seller, I would never use this agent. When I was a buyer, they wouldn't let us make an offer as they wanted to own the chain and we were selling outside of the area. I have since checked and we would have paid at least £10k more than the property went for, and we completed sooner on our new property, than the chain in question. As seller, I would beware that they don't have your best interests at heart and as a buyer they are very judgemental and were quick to presume we weren't credible.
I instructed SW19 to sell my property following an unsuccessful period with a well known online only estate agents. I found the online experience to be challenging in a difficult post Brexit vote London market.
Luke spoke to me directly at the outset and immediately put me at ease. I felt he had a genuine interest in helping me to sell my property and was clearly proud of his business. I found this a welcome contrast to the pushy approach of some other agents. Luke was realistic about the asking price I should set and gave me good advice, supporting with real evidence and experience. I also felt that the commission and conditions SW19 offered was far superior to competitors and was a key differentiator. I felt like we were working together to sell my property.
His team worked well, keeping me informed throughout. They found me a buyer and played a key role in negotiating a satisfactory price for both parties. I also felt happy that they had found me a buyer who genuinely loved my property and was committed to the purchase. This proved to be key when a few weeks later the person at the bottom of the chain pulled out. The SW19 team who were also selling my buyers property resold it within a week and kept the chain together. I thought this was a great example of their expertise and buyers list in the Wimbledon area. The team kept me informed throughout a stressful period.
Finally when we progressed towards completion we were working towards a deadline for school places. The team at SW19 worked tirelessly to ensure we achieved the deadline, bringing together the different parties and supporting solicitors with resolution of issues. I turkey believe if it were not for the hard work of SW19 then we would not have completed in time for the deadline and that without their personal committed approach that the chain would have fallen through. They were a true credit to their profession and an example of how it is possible for traditional estate agents to offer better value than online competitors, without resorting to the pushy exploitative tactics of some of the larger agents. I would not hesitate to recommend SW19 to everyone and would certainly use them again if selling in the area. I felt the service they gave me was of the highest standard of quality and was delivered at a very competitive price with a personal touch. Thank you so much SW19 team!!! Best of luck for the future.
ABSOLUTELY IRRESPONSIBLE AGENT NEVER EVER RENT OR BUY PROPERTY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!
