7th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

They kept me updated at every stage and were always quick to answer my questions. After a lengthy sales process with another estate agent, we moved our listing to KF H and had almost immediate success. The team were relentless in ensuring that our sale and our onward purchase aligned and that everything worked out. Their communication and attentiveness was stellar and they made us feel reassured and in the know for the entire process. George Relton in particular was amazing. He kept us informed and had tough conversations on our behalf that really made the difference. Thanks George and the entire team!

1st Jun 2026 (25 days ago)I have just begun a new tenancy in a property of which Paramount were the letting agents. The whole process was handled extremely efficiently and smoothly, from showing me around the property to signing the tenancy agreement. I was dealing with Holly and Harry who have been exceptionally helpful. The communication between both of them and myself has been outstanding and they have kept me up to date continuously. They were even happy to communicate in the evenings, weekends and over a bank holiday. Most definitely the best letting agents I have ever dealt with.

Everything was handled efficiently, from the paperwork to answering all our questions promptly and clearly. Moving house can be stressful, but they made the whole process smooth, organised, and much easier for us. Their communication and attention to detail were excellent, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making sure everything was sorted properly. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

19th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)Very disappointing experience.<br><br>I paid a holding deposit, completed the referencing and background checks, and was sent a draft tenancy agreement to sign. I was also contacted and informed that everything was fine and that the final contract would be sent shortly.<br><br>Based on these assurances, I gave notice to my current landlord to vacate my existing property.<br><br>After waiting for around two weeks, I unexpectedly received an email indicating that the property was still available. It appeared that the property continued to be marketed despite my holding deposit having been paid, the referencing process having been completed, and a draft contract having already been signed.<br><br>What was most concerning was the lack of communication. At no point was I proactively informed that there was an issue or that the tenancy might not proceed. Had I not received that email and followed up myself, I could have been left without confirmed accommodation after already serving notice on my current home.<br><br>This situation caused significant stress and uncertainty and could have had serious consequences. I would strongly advise future tenants not to give notice on their current property until they have a fully executed tenancy agreement and written confirmation that everything is finalised.

Our agent Harry and his manager Libby keep customer care at the bottom of their priority list. I have called multiple times, left emails, and left voicemails, all to be completely ignored.<br><br>?We were without a functioning bathroom for 5 months. A rental reduction was requested, acknowledged, and then ignored for months, honestly don't believe the request was ever even passed to the landlord. Now, we are at the end of our tenancy and have found new tenants for the flat, but again, we are being ignored.<br><br>?I have found the landlord's details and will contact him directly today just to get a response. Shocking service.
