The Acorn team at Bermondsey provided superb support to us in our efforts to sell our flat. In a buyers market they worked very hard to find and interest prospective buyers, this combined with patience and commitment brought us to a successful conclusion. No complaints, just praise, thanks. :-)
My real estate agent was Shirin.
She was really nice to my boyfriend and I trying to find the best accommodation and attentive to us.
Many thanks again.
Miss Roger and Mr Pelizzaro
Stirling Ackroyd is doing a great job. And for the second year running, I must also give 5 stars to Abby who's been our main contact.
I wish to post a review for Abby who was extremely helpful and worked hard to obtain for me a renew of the existing tenancy.
He was consistent and professional at all times.
An he always had my best interests at heart.
He was a pleasure to work with.
Our representative Catherine is great... very easy to get in contact with and responsive when needed. Reasonable fees (around £100 plus VAT if I remember correctly). I'd recommend using Williams Lynch if you're in the Bermondsey area.
I am a tenant trying to amend a contract with William Lynch, takes more than one week to get a verbal reply from the agent for a very simple request. Most phone calls are never answered. No written reply or receipt from the agent after having transferred administration fee to the agent's bank account after two days (and still counting). I am in fact still waiting the reply from the agent after sending 3 emails for follow up. Apparently these kind of "low value" services are deprioritised by the agents. I would recommend everyone not to use this agent with such lack of professionalism. In fact if there is a choice of giving no stars I would have given it, but now I have to stick with a one star rating.
We had a rocky road with a previous (cheaper) agent who agreed a long and protracted sale that never realised. Foxtons were so much more professional. There was clear communication throughout both during marketing and viewing and throughout the post agreement process. Both Chris Venter (sales manager) and Lewis Campbell (senior negotiator) were always on hand to answer queries You get what you pay for and I would highly recommend Foxtons. We would go to Foxtons first if we had to do it again.
They were not forthcoming about maintenance work that was going to be carried out on the building. So now I have scaffolding outside of my windows and have just found out it's going to be there for four months. I do not recommend Foxtons and will never do business with them again
