1st Mar 2021 (4 years ago)Last year I sold my house in Marsh thanks to the excellent advice and service from Chris Jowett. The house was on the market for most of the previous year (2019) with a different estate agent and throughout the extremely slow and stressful process I was disappointed at the lack of communication and progress. What a difference when I placed the property back on the market in 2020 with Jowett Estate Agents. Chris Jowett's knowledge of the market in this area and his judgment, skill and experience with regard to asking price and negotiating the sale proved invaluable. Chris undertook most of the work himself, from the initial visit, and later visits for photos and measurements, etc. to final completion. Details and photos were posted online very speedily and the 'For Sale' board also in place. Chris did the viewings, and in less than 2 weeks informed me of two keen buyers, both offering the full purchase price. After further negotiation by Chris, I proceeded with one of the buyers and the sale was successfully completed. I was very pleased with the excellent, fast and very professional service I received and I was kept informed at every stage as the sale progressed. I definitely recommend this agent and would use again.

31st Jul 2024 (8 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
