There was no hard sell. I mostly liaised with Mark once marketing went live; he was excellent. I felt supported throughout the long negotiation and buying/selling chain time frame. Going above and beyond in every way and proving that getting a mortgage is not as difficult as I thought it would be. Being new to it all I wasn’t sure how it worked and Anne explained everything to me and made the process stress free and successful despite all odds. I totally trust William H B and am so grateful I had their support to help me buy a beautiful place to live.
8th May 2021 (4 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.

In the final stages of completing she was very helpful in getting it sorted, dealing with both solicitors and clients in a long chain of six! Always professional, kind and supportive throughout the process, with many phone calls and reassuring explanations. It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. 18th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !
25th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)We loved the photos of the property, really felt good that my brother and sis in law found this place. But then they moved in, met with disgusting state of the property, almost 10 hours of cleaning plus professional services, then more drama came from the real estate agent, and maybe a careless landlord. Our family have rented properties, since then we have bought and now we have properties of our own to rent out, never in my life I have met with this level of carefree management and horrible professionalism. I hope for the best and I wish you guys can improve yourselves, or quit and do something else you guys really care about. But working like this, is not the way.
6th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)Very happy with the service provided. They did what they said, on time and explained what the next steps would be. No gimmicks or overpromising! They know the local area very well, the communication was well paced, realistic and relevant. The latter part of 2025 housing market conditions have proved difficult based on the economical impacts and due to the seasonality. Despite that things have progressed nicely.

7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I had a very frustrating experience dealing with Whitegates. After my contract ended and I had given proper notice, my property remained listed on Rightmove without my consent. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received little to no response, and promises of callbacks were not followed through. It felt like I was being ignored, and the property continued to be marketed even after I had clearly withdrawn instruction. I was also told a £250 termination fee was required, but this was only withdrawn after I challenged it and escalated the matter. Eventually, the issue was resolved, but only after significant effort on my part. Communication throughout was poor, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to carefully review the terms of agreement and be prepared to follow up persistently if issues arise. Unfortunately, I would not use this agent again.

They went above and beyond to get the viewers in to look at the property and tried their best to advertise the house in the best way possible. Finally we have a buyer and its thanks to David and Freddie. Trust, honesty and straight talking is what you want and its what we got with them so thank you both again.
