Completely away from any stereotype, he offered assured and informative advice, where to look, what would provide the best value and return on investment, what to look for when being a first time buyer and so much more, all in the knowledge that we were not 100% sure about committing to anything just yet. Everything seems right, once agent fee is paid, you need to stay away from you deposit for weeks.
Spent two years with them was bad experience. Well today, i asked landlady, its been three weeks, may i know what is going on with our deposit. I have sent emails and emails to greene and co but no reply.
I got referred to monsters person in their account dept name Shitryl.
Without being polite on phone and she listens to me about emails i have sent, she has started throwing orders,
NO ONE TOLD ME TO RELEASE YOUR DEPOSIT, I WANT YOU TO GO BACK TO LANDLORD AND BRING ME CONFIRMATION. I AM TELLING YOU THE PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW.
I mean you are holding my 3k deposit and look at the way you are ordering me, i have the landlady text message, who gave me your details to call.
Anyways, i hope i get my deposit back and wouldn't recommend anyone to use their service unless you have attitude to match Shitryl standards ;)
Riccardo was great in helping us find a flat. Throughout the whole process he’s been quick to answer any queries and has ensured that we are happy with the flat. Would definitely recommend!
Extremely disappointing experience. After viewing a house, we sent over the deposit to secure it, confirmed it with the 'agent' Dino saying that we would send the money within minutes. He gave us the bank details and we sent the money. About 24 hours later the same agent sent us an email saying that the house had been rented to someone else. I called him and he was not able to give me a clear answer about whether we could actually still get the house or not, keeping me and my 2 friends waiting for hours and hoping for us to get that house. Unreliable and not customer oriented, he said he would call us back but didn't. After 4 hours we called him and he proposed us another house in a completely different location with different room numbers and so on.
He could have just said that there was no hope for us to get that house and that would have been it, instead gave us false hope, kept us hooked and even more annoying, kept dodging our calls. At last he didn't have the courage to speak on the phone and we spoke to the manager who apologized. After speaking to the manager we also found out that the house we wanted to rent was NOT all inclusive, while Dino had told us that it was all inclusive.
I am glad I have nothing to do with this agency.
I was extremely disappointed with the estate agent who I first instructed to sell my property. But when I walked into a ABCs modern office I was immediately impressed by the welcome I received from their smartly dressed and mature sales staff. I instructed them there and then and within very short while I had accepted an offer on my property. Their sales team kept me regularly up-to-date with progress and I was very satisfied with their professionalism and level of performance. I will be sure to tell my family and friends to use ABC when they come to sell their property.

These guys are scammers! Owners and Renters beware. They have another branch. Read all the reviews on google. Unfortunately, we did not do that and lost money!
Great advice and help provided on my viewing. I have dealt with many Estate Agents however this is the only one in which I have received great service as most are very target driven. The worst experience we've had with an estate agent. We arranged to view a flat at a certain time. We had to call the agent to see why nobody came at the appointed time. We were assured they were on their way. We waited 15 minutes before anyone arrived. Eventually two young women arrived without explanation but did not have the keys. They said someone else would be arriving and they knew nothing, as they "only work on Saturdays" as if that explained it all. The next woman arrived, by this time twenty minutes late, with another client. She walked right past us with no explanation nor apology and proceeded to enter the building with the other client. It appeared as if she expected us to follow her in. In the circumstances we had no inclination to do so and we left, having wasted a journey and at least an hour of our time on a Saturday afternoon.
Highly recommend regent.
The staffs are friendly, and awesome on the work. Also, they provide lots of convenience, the most satisfying thing is that they use wechat for Chinese customers.
By the way, Tasif, one of their staffs who response to help me to find a property, he helps us to find a very good property with nice views.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. They use photos of flats that are not on the market to get call backs and entice you in to looking at other places they have. EXTREMELY misleading advertising - DO NOT TRUST THE PHOTOS. After the letting agent failed to gain access to the first viewing because he had not arranged it properly with the tenants, I then viewed a second flat that according to the photos and description, was a large 1-bed apartment. It was in fact a very small studio flat that I would have never considered viewing had they been honest. Time wasting, inconsiderate liars that will do anything to boost their 'call' numbers.
Very good service. Had previously had our flat on the market for three weeks with another estate agent, and while people came to view it, no-one rented. Gave it over to Portland and they found a tenant on the same day, fully vetted.
It wasn't just a fluke, the second flat we tried renting with Portland also had a tenant within two days who put down a deposit and is moving in soon. Would definitely use their services in future.
Even after notifying the agency that I am no longer looking for a property I kept receiving SMS messages. The messages were being sent with a sender ID "PortlandEA" saying at the end reply STOP to opt out - which doesn't work. I actually called the agency just now to ask again to be taken off the list and using the opportunity that I have someone on the phone I wanted to be helpful and explain to the rather unpleasant man that the way they are sending messages is not GDPR compliant (I work in communications industry) he just cut the conversation in the middle of my sentence. I will most certainly not be using the agency as they are clearly only nice to people that they can profit of in the short term run.
To the man from the phone: No, the "STOP" message will not magically arrive on your computer if you are using alphanumeric sender ID. You either use an actual phone number where people can respond directly or ad STOP + short code to where people can reply. You are welcome.
