Are Abode - Westcliff-on-sea Right For You?

As a 30+ year experienced estate agent, now retired, I was very judgemental about all the agents we came in to contact with in Tavistock, without a doubt the best was Abode, professional, friendly, approachable, helpful, proactive, understanding of our needs and yet adventurous in their suggestions. We registered looking for a 20/30 year old house within walking distance of the town and ended up buying a 550 year old cottage in a village 15 min drive away. Everyone in the office is friendly too but Karen was a shining light, cheerful and always happy to help and deal with any issues that arose. We moved in in September 2019 and love it. Thank you to Karen, Kevin and everybody else in the office, you were brilliant.Thoroughly impressed with Kevin's efficient, no nonsense approach when signing up and welcoming attitude when popping in. Everyone we dealt with was efficient and 'in the know' but Karen was a rock, quietly encouraging, always welcoming and fiercely supportive. She always went the extra mile. ... The whole team are down-to-earth and friendly and Kevin explained their services very well.
The service they gave was even better than expected and way better than any of the other agents we have used in the past. They proactively promote your property and give ... From our first viewing Sue was warm, friendly and professional. Mark kept in touch with us regularly to let us know how things were progressing and acted quickly if we called. Excellent service and would recommend this team.... Moving from Bristol to Tavistock both Sue & Karen were very accomodating arranging viewings to fit in with us. Website info was valuable to help us sift through the properties. I felt they worked well with us to make the process as smooth as possible.... Many thanks to everyone who helped us with the sale of the Fuchsias, especially Kevin and Ollie.

Regular updates were much appreciated and special thanks to Helen who pulled all the stops out in the final stages to bring the chain together. Thoroughly recommended!... Very helpful, professional staff. Always ready to go the "extra mile". Lovely to call in, and have a laugh with! Thank you so much everyone. I would certainly use Abode again and recommend them to others.... Excellent communications throughout our purchase of the property. Many thanks to them for making the experience stress free. She frequently contacted us and was able to assist when our buyer's solicitors were ... Hellen was always cheerful but very profeshonal in every aspect of the sale.

I live in Canada and the Tavistock Team went above and beyond to help me sell my Tavistock property as an absentee seller. I can't praise them highly enough.... During a complicated time, Abode provided a compassionate but professional service. Sue especially kept me informed throughout the process. Many thanks.... Abode were absolutely brilliant with my house purchase they kept me up to date the whole way through and were always happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend them!... I recently purchased a property through Abode and mostly dealt with Abi and Karen. Both were very helpful on the telephone and Abi even dropped the keys off to me on the moving day. Took a long time but finally got the house sale and house buy sorted thanks to Karen,Ollie and Kevin.... Karen has been caring, empathic, thoughtful, thorough,knowledgeable, kind, lively and has acted with clarity in all our communication together.... An excellent service from start to finish with only well matches prospective buyers offered viewings. An excellent service from a local agent that knows the market.... We bought our house through Abode with Ollie Richards as our agent. He was very helpful and friendly throughout the process and always available to answer questions and liaise with the sellers. We are new to the area and he has also provided much local ... We had a very difficult sale and the members of Abode were extremely patient, knowledgable and understanding especially Karen and Mark. Eventually everything went through and we moved. Without Karen and Mark with their calm measured approach things could have turned out differently....
