Since being with Acorn for the last 3 years, i have had nothing but trouble. From losing the keys on the way in, breaking the gas tap, to calling up every month for the rent, to paying for a check every 6 months but not getting one for almost 2 years, and then losing the keys AGAIN on the way out, i would never recommend this company to anyone. If you are a landlord, run. The other direction!
Natalie Humm recently helped me find a property. She knew exactly what I wanted, so much so she insisted on me viewing my current property, before the viewing was over, I had decided I wanted it. Everything was completed very swiftly. Now settled in my new flat, and loving it. Can't thank her enough.
Poor service from the branch manager, quite rude too. Shame as other staff were professional at least. I will return when management changes not before. A pity as KFH have several good branches in the Crystal Palace to Bromley region.

With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.
We had been looking for our new place for several months when we contacted Alan de Maid for a visit. From there Harry Burge was on a mission! Finding us our place. He did not spare any effort, worked way outside his working hours to get us moved in less than 10 days. It went absolutely smoothly. We are very grateful to Harry who did more than his duty and Alan de Maid who have been very reactive.
Horrible experience buying through this agency. Felt stalked with constant calls at the workplace and unbelievable pressure (especially when we were not the ones with the onward chain slowing the process down). I will never us this agency to handle selling or buying property ever again.
1st class service. Alan de Maid was our seller's estate agent but has proved to be really efficient and constantly coordinating the chain in difficult moments, while our own agent, Winkworth, showed little or counter productive involvement. We felt very much supported more specifically by Robyne working beyond office hours and solving problems that other agents in the chain were not able to solve. She has been pivotal during the whole process, A great thank you and we highly recommend the team.
Great service from Peter and Deana. Very honest and straightforward valuation advice, demonstrating lots of local knowledge with no unnecessary sales patter. Did a terrific co-ordinating both sets of solicitors in the inevitable last minute back and forth in the run to up to exchange/completion. We bought and sold our house through Peter and would happily do the same again.
