I have used Your Move Bromley for nearly 17 years in both lettings and selling of a property in the Bromley area. Neither me nor the other neighbours on my road will EVER use this company for rental or sales. We had issues with a rental property they ‘mange’ and they ignored calls, letters, emails etc with no interest in the effect on the community. We had to go to Head office in the end only to be told not our problem as long as rent comes in and we get our commission.

Your Move is great in handling everything we needed when we first moved in the flat we are renting. They used to be quick with repairs but recently it took really long time for the maintenance to look over things especially when our water heater was broken. It was an emergency and it took ages for the maintenance team to see the problem of our water heater. Luckily Ms. Anna Pacek went above and beyond to get things done quickly as possible. I am very grateful for her because she helped us a lot whenever maintenance takes really long time to fix issues in the flat.

I picked a property to rent on the harsh London market for the first time, and it was let and managed by Your Move. The house wasn't in perfect condition, and it took time to sort some issues, but on many improvement requests from my side I never heard "No". Stay away from this company. I'd choose anyone else over Your Move. The staff are rude. I had Paula Weston calling me in the most unprofessional way for no good reason. They wanted us to cooperate on any days they booked in for viewings. A little advice for you: first ask the tenants what days they're available and then book in viewings. Not vice versa. People may think this is a non-brainer, but apparently not for everybody.
Also, good luck if you want to get anything sorted. They're completely useless when it comes to administration. They were sitting on the deposit for weeks and they wouldn't have started the process if we hadn't chased it up. Forget whatever's in the contract, that doesn't apply to them. Never in my life I had to chase an agency for basic things that should be done automatically when the tenant moves out.
Credit to Leo for being the only one who cared in the whole branch.

I do not recommend this agency. I, my husband and one year old went for a viewing on Saturday 16th April, the person meant to show us the property did not show up. We proceeded to ask others at the sales suite- if the agency was there and they said they have not seen them. We waited for 40 minutes and continually called the agency and no one answered. Fast forward to today and we have been told the man was there and he waited for 15 minutes outside the property- so he was there, we were there and everyone else is somehow mistaken. Anyway no real apology or any resolution to the issue to ensure this doesn’t happen again if we were to try and view again, quite disappointed.
Reply to your move: No Your Move Bromley you certainly was not there and one thing I really dislike is the constant lying. Number one, there is a sales suite so why wouldn’t you wait there if you were supposedly there. This was the first place we went and asked for the person we were meant to meet, both people said they had not seen anyone from Your Move the whole day and they also said this is not the first time this has happened to people coming to view with this particular individual. You are unable to give a real apology and ensure such a thing won’t happen again, and give excuses upon excuses. We would have been happy to come back and view as long as we had certainty this wouldn’t happen again- like a contact number (I’m not sure why you don’t distribute work mobiles but, that’s another conversation). My family have gone on countless viewing and we have never had an issue with someone not turning up- utterly ridiculous. I actually give them a -1 review now.

I had an awful time with this company regarding me leaving a property. I had many issues with my flatmate and was told via my landlords I should go through the tenancy agents (yourmove) to get back my deposit. All together with a security deposit ( totalling £1211). I have evidence of all the money I put in and was told by today- the 25th of March 2022 that I would be signed off ( by my flatmates consent ) from the tenancy and get the deposit I am owed back. Coming upto today I have been emailing and calling Matthew Coffey for the past few weeks to make sure everything was gine to go ahead as I paid my rent early and judt wanted to get out earlier. I have been ignored this whole time. Only text messaged i got where today to tell me that i should try and get the money back from my flatmate!
Yourmove are aware of all my issues with my flatmate,of the police involvement and the want for me to leavw as soon as possible with the money i am owed. He tried to shrug all responsibility of the money I am owed back onto my flatmate ( as I went halves on our 2000 deposit and sent it through her he believed she owed it back to me!)
Without this money I am looking at becoming homeless as this deposit money is going towards a new flat. Without it I have nowhere to live and will be signed off without any money going forward as my flatmate has tried to claim she owes me nothing !
I can't stay at the property as my flatmate and her friends have repeatedly threatened me and made my life very difficult since December last year. Yourmove are aware of the issues ans still believe I could somehow talk to this very difficult tenant /flatmate and try and get my money back !
I also do not know how she wasn't evicted for her behaviour!
I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND MATTHEW COFFEY OR YOURMOVE TO ANYONE WISHING TO BUY, LET.
I WOULD NOT SUGGEST ASKING FOR ANY SERVICES EITHER.

I showed many bankstatements, the timing and the amount. And he claims it is not enough proof now to show it was for the deposit! Even though it shows I sent it the same day my flatmate sends in the money together with her half- same account aswell!
Also I have been told by my new letting agents I shouldn't of had to wait for her consent for my to leave! So I have spent over 2 months paying for rent in somewhere I couldn't have left months ago !

BR20DH. We moved in on the 28th of August 2021. Problems started straight away, three heaters don’t work. Living room hallway and spare bedroom. Told Your Move and landlord, nothing done. 5 months no heating. When we went for the property, it said private parking, not the case, first come first serve. Had a permit, still got fines. £400 pounds all in, paid out of my own pocket. Again Your Move and Landlord didn’t do anything. Boiler, stopped working early December 3 mouth with hardly no heating and cold water. Had to use a bucket and a jug a couple of times, not pleasant. We received a letter from the neighbour of watch, not a savoury place to live, it has condensation problems too. Two fire alarms, one wasn’t working in the hallway, plus no fire door on the kitchen. Power problems too, electrics. All this put massive stress on our lives too. It was a nightmare, so much so. We had to leave. From day one, the Landlord breached the contract! Your Move It’s not worth the trouble

I had a number of agents round to do valuations and Your Move had come recommended on a local Facebook group. The Valuation was a little higher than the average but not way off and the agent advised he had sold another similar property at that price the week previous, so I signed up. I had 1 booking initially which was a late cancellation followed by another which was a no show, that was it, in over a month. I emailed the agent with a number of questions about my flat, why it wasn’t getting viewings, the market in general etc and I received no reply, after 3 days I called, the agent was in the office and I was asked to hold, I was then told agent would call back, they didn’t, until over a day later. The only feedback they offered was to reduce the price. In short and in retrospect they were too keen to get me to sign up (I didn’t realise agents had quotas on sign ups only assumed sales) and I feel they did nothing to try and market my property and book viewings. It was all about getting the property signed up with no real customer service after. Would not recommend.

Best Estate Agents in town. Been trying to sell my flat on and off for the last five years. Tried every local Estate Agent in the BR1 area. Despite promises it would sell I either got low or no offers. Until i walked into YOUR MOVE BROMLEY and met DAVID. Now, we are moving our of our present home and transferring to a new smaller one. It has been a year that our house was under Your Move management and we have nothing but praise for the excellent service they had done for us.
All the maintenance and building related works were answered and repaired in the quickest and most convenient time for us tenants. Every inquiry relating to the rent and utilities are always discussed with us and we were always informed of any changes. Overall experience was lovely.
A special thanks to our lettings manager Ms. Anna Pacek. She was a complete star and with her as your property manager, you have nothing to worry about.

So far I'm extremely unimpressed. I was promised by the Bromley branch that my deposit, only paid a day earlier, would be returned within five days. As things stand, and in fairness Christmas has got in the way, it has now been at least three weeks and I'm still waiting! This is extremely poor service!

The most unprofessional,inept and fraudulent estate agents you could ever wish to do business with. Had the very worst experience dealing with them and would urge anyone thinking about doing business with them to seriously rethink their decision. Even their head office is a nightmare to have to deal with. Really the worst people I have ever had the misfortune of having had to deal with. Stay clear if you value your money and sanity!

I don't think Your Move have let properties before. On top of the extortionate fees, there is a poor service. Our property was fully managed, but we have had to pay for extra keys to be cut for them. When moving out, they failed to get an itemised invoice for damages, so disputed charges were not easily resolved. On settling on an amount, the incorrect deposit amount was returned as other payments for fees had been lost within their systems.

VERY DISAPPOINTING, UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL
We had an appointment to view a flat in Bromley. We arrived a little early. After around 20 minutes no one showed so I called to find out what's going on. I got through first and spoke to an assistant and seemed to be hung up on. Tried again and eventually got through to the sales team. He told me that we were in the book as miscellaneous (no details), no contact number and just my name. He told me it looked as though they had forgot (or had no intention to show up) and gone to another appointment nowhere near my location. He said he would contact the agent and let me know. I was with my partner, her father and my young child. We waited there for almost an HOUR!!! To be fair to the sales member he apologized, however we did not get a call back and obviously decided to leave. To this day I have not heard back from them. No explanation and no apology. I don't know how their database works but I had contacted them a number of times regarding this flat and others and left my details so I can't see how they didn't have my phone number. Its utterly unprofessional and very disappointing. Unfortunately they are holding the keys (literally) and it may be unavoidable to deal with them in future which saddens me. But if possible I would avoid dealing with this agency.

Avoid like the plague. Extremely slow at carrying out basic maintenance issues. Not helped by a landlord who isn't bothered either. The property at Mill Vale in Bromley has been a nightmare to rent. We've had the worst mould, and when I was due to give birth (Nov 2017) I really wanted it sorted out. Nothing was done. It got worse, still nothing. Baby is 3 months at this point. Many emails and months later (July 2018) we finally get a response and someone comes out, but after that we heard nothing. We've finally had enough and hand in our notice, now September, and we get a call from the agents advising the landlord will be sending some to deal with the mould at 8am on a Tuesday morning. I kindly ask if they can do after 10am as my husband will be getting ready for work and the baby will still be asleep, so the rep from Your Move Bromley said she will try. I get a call back less than 2 minutes later saying the landlord said no it has to be 8am, as it is a matter of urgency and we basically have no choice in the matter. It is only now a matter of urgency as a photographer will be coming round on Tuesday to take pictures of the property. Such disgusting behaviour from both the landlord and agents. Our landlord has a young child and I'm very sure she would not have let her child live in such conditions. If I could upload the pictures with this review I would! Avoid Your Move and avoid this property.

Had an appointment booked as I had a flat to let. Your Move had my home phone and mobile contact numbers. Travelled 30 minutes to the flat and then waited. 15 minutes after the appointment time I phoned Your Move ,the call went to answer machine so I phoned again 10 minutes later and this time left a message.
20 minutes later I was phoned and told that the person I was due to meet had had an emergency.
I sympathise if this was truly the case but surely someone should have checked his appointments diary and have contacted me.
I have had to award one star in order to post this!
We have chosen a different agent and will not trouble Your Move again.

My experience with Your Move Bromley was brilliant, especially Leah & David. Whenever I popped in with a query or for help they were both very very helpful and offered good advice and helped sort out the issue. I would recommend them if you are thinking of selling. The EWay system used through their solicitors was also very clear and easy to use, the only downfall being they are based in Leicester, but emails were answered promptly and my solicitor was easy to contact by phone.
