Stephen was showing us around a few properties and he was very attentive. Very lovely person to speak to. My elderly parents really got along with him and he was very professional and made us feel very comfortable when viewing these properties. Definitely great guy and Foxtons is very lucky to have him.

If you are buying a house and you can choose, do not choose Foxtons. We have recently bought a house and dealing with Foxtons was a nightmare. They work exclusively for the vendor and they will do absolutely nothing for the buyer. If you are unlucky enough to have to deal with them, do not accept any offers or referrals from them. Searches, enquiries, solicitors, are all much more expensive through them. They will try and use scare tactics such as "if you have your own solicitor and they are not good, the operation may fall through". Even when we went ahead with our own solicitors (nothing wrong with them) they carried on calling us for days trying to convince us to use their own solicitors (literally twice as much expensive). Foxtons will do anything to get a referral fee. Stephen Waller was our point of contact and he could have not been more self serving. If you are new buying a house, do not trust them. Always check with your solicitor and do not say yes to any of their request, does not matter how reasonable they sound unless you checked before and are 100% sure. Also, anyone can check how 'reputable' they are, just Google Foxtons court cases and you will find hours of reading of Foxtons taken to court for hidden feeds and others from the Office of Fair Trading nonetheless!! A.V.O.I.D. T.H.E.M!!

I had a very tricky sale forced through by a court order, that also included a lease extension. The whole process took nearly 18 months, but Foxtons Bromley were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They gave expert guidance and advice in a market that was rapidly changing (12 consecutive interest rate rises). They helped me with the paperwork and also handled all viewings and enquires on my behalf, they also helped with some of the more complicated administration to help get the deal done. I have to single out Tom Kennard for a special mention – he was a total professional and a thoroughly nice guy as well.

Having had a poor experience with other estate agents, I did some research and after reading Tom Kennard’s reviews, decided to give him and Foxtons a go. Do not be put off by the higher fees, Tom worked for and earned every penny of it from start to finish. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His calm demeanour and negotiation skills not only got the job done but reassured me throughout the whole process that someone who cares about the best outcome is taking care of it. The service from Foxtons has been non-existent over the past 4 months. I gave notice on my flat in July and they have only just notified me there was an issue with that notification! And they are trying to charge me two months rent even though I gave notice 4 months ago! All they seem interested in is their commission. I’ll be taking the matter to the Ombudsman shortly.

They started by helping in appointing their recommended solicitors, who were fantastic. They also put us in touch with one of their experienced mortgage brokers to help us with our related purchase, who likewise were brilliant.
Special mentions in particular have to go to Amelia C & Ryan N, who stood for us during the whole process. Exceptional service whenever and wherever we needed them throughout and we will definitely be recommending anyone considering selling their home to use them.

As landlords, we let our property through Foxtons - I was told they were the best on the market (from the lettings manager of course) and now I whole-heartedly regret contracting with them. While they found us some great tenants, their fee is one of the highest on the market. We were told it's high because they provide a 'high' service however I can safely say their service is not high, in fact it's abysmal.
You pay through the nose for an always on 360 service, except they're not always on - barely there is more appropriate. They will let you know of any issues, but then expect you to pay a ridiculous amount to use their 'in house' contractors. We had a small issue with our bath in which we were quoted £90 just for the call out. Instead we decided to find someone ourselves who found the issue to be minor, and charged £20. We pay around £140 a month for this service, and every single issue that has arisen, we have sorted ourselves for much cheaper and less faff. They also don't answer calls and emails which is infuriating when you have tenants and need to know what is going on.
On cancelling the dire services, we decided to deal with all issues ourselves which has worked out much better, however since this, they have decided to ignore all of our emails about upcoming rent and changing of payment details. We have emailed numerous times over the last 9 weeks and had radio silence which has pushed me to write this review.
If you're thinking about letting your property with Foxtons, don't.

A pretty much seamless process delivered by Tom Kennard at Bromley Foxtons from start to finish in relation to my husband and I’s recent sale. Tom managed the whole process and really made us feel valued as customers. The natural process of selling/buying a property saw there being a few hiccups along the way with solicitors and others in the chain, but Tom went above and beyond to make things happen at all junctures, communicate in a timely manner and assure us whenever we had concerns/questions.
Foxtons may not be the cheapest on the market, but you get what you pay for. Tom has been a great example of that additional value and we hope to be returning customers in the future.

Fay from Foxtons Bromley went above and beyond in providing us with options for short and long term rentals. In a stressful situation of buying and selling that went on for 6 months and ultimately left us without a house to buy, and less than 2 weeks to find somewhere to live, it was re-assuring to know that Fay was keeping an eye out for us. Over the months Fay kept checking in and updating us with options in case we needed to jump out into a rental. She adapted this to our ever changing situation regardless of the unpredictable outcome. The sale became (unexpectedly) complex due to various issues including historical subsidence, tree preservation orders and an extremely pernickety buyer’s solicitor. The market is, obviously, also very challenging at the moment.
As such, we were very grateful to have Foxtons’ (especially Tom Kennard) support, enthusiasm and professionalism to guide us through the process. We could not have asked for more from Tom - he was definitely worth more than Foxtons’ fee. Very highly recommended.

Me and my partner have shared this property for just over a year and a half. Straight away we moved in to be welcomed by a mouldy refrigerator/freezer, front door frame botched with pieces of wood, and THREE MONTHS NO HEATING OR HOT WATER (Jan-Apr). With no offer for compensation or generally any compassion at all, once we're out of this place were staying away from foxtons for life, and recommending our friends do the same.

Foxtons costs that little bit more; but for me, they were definitely worth it. Priscilla Djokoto, the agent that handled my sale, was always on hand and always promptly returned my calls. I discovered a lot of the work in selling a house occurs once you go under offer. I particularly appreciated the way she happily chased up solicitors, took a lot of the load of me and worked tirelessly right through to exchange.

We were not buying our property via Emma however she kept pushing the deal through with all parties, under a time constrained pressure, when our solicitors were doubting it is possible. I've had a great experience dealing with Foxtons Bromley. I'm all praise for the systematic and organized way in which they go about making such a stressful task easier for you.
Elvina spent two evenings showing me properties in and around Bromley and was cheerful and polite. I feel I must write a review about the absolutely wonderful service I received from Neesha Robinson at the Bromley branch.
I popped in there on the off chance of registering to view some properties, and I was offered the chance to visit 2 properties relating to requirements almost immediately by this effervescent young lady. She also made some bookings for me to view more properties in the next few days. She was upbeat about the whole process, was full of information, hints and tips, and answered all of my queries. So often you get people who just 'do their job', but that is a far cry from what I experienced with Neesha. Her personality and professionalism put my faith back in human nature & brightened my day!
Eventually I took a property elsewhere, but that did not diminish Neesha's enthusiasm for my finding the right place for me.
I am very grateful to her for her help & kindness, and I think you need to hold on to her - a great representative for your company.

I had my property on the market with a local Bromley estate agent for many months.
This company in retrospect and in my opinion unreliable and untruthful. I honestly believe they were looking to sell my property to themselves and make a large sum very quickly.
In desperation (I was starting to believe my property was worthless) I contacted the Bromley Foxtons office.
When I say they worked their socks off to sell my property its a huge understatement.
Chloe deserves special mention as a very tenacious business woman, dedicated to my cause and a right pain but in the very best way.
She is a 'get things done' woman and Foxtons had better realise this and value her accordingly.
Now I don't write reviews but credit where credit is due; thanks Chloe...I wouldn't like to work under you, too much of a task master...respect!
