Service is very poor, as a landlord I continually have to call, send e-mails etc. Still waiting for a reply to my question posted to letting manager on 28th Feb, again on 28th Mar, 30th April, called office on 4th May and still nothing. I only gave it a star because you cannot post otherwise and there are no negative or black stars

Multiple times people have commented on the holding deposit and the owner always states that it's deducted from the total on commencement of the tenancy. This simply isn't true, despite it being worded that way in documents I have from Dixons. To quote one of their employees in an email: "The fees on the good faith are the same as I explained on the viewing, so the initial £250 is all part of your applications fees and doesn’t come off the end payment. It is taken as a separate payment to secure the property and start the referencing process" This wasn't explained at the viewing, in fact we were told there wasn't a holding deposit, simply an application form to be completed that would be provided to the landlord for him to choose from prospective tenants. I'd steer clear and find a more reasonable agent.
