I usually never post negative reviews but I couldn’t quite believe how rude and pretentious not just one but several of the employees here were when I made inquiries about lettings. I was consistently met with an attitude which communicated they weren’t bothered about my interest (e.g. no call backs or emails, no one answering the phones, etc). When I did finally reach someone I was polite each time and did express my frustration calmly, but the response was very dismissive and unprofessional with no apologies. Take it for what it is but it left me to feel it would be a nightmare to let with them anyway...

I have twice tried to use Finn's to enquire about a letting. The first a few years ago and the second the other week. Both times I have been extremely disappointed in the service provided. Firstly, it takes a few days for them to contact you once you have submitted an enquiry. They then send you a residential viewing questionnaire to complete before viewings can take place. Upon sending this questionnaire back I waited 7 days before following up the email with an equiry to check they had received it and heard nothing back. I then completed a new enquiry form and this time heard back that the properties were unavailable. It is terribly inconvenient to have to chase up the agents. The customer service is extremely poor. The viewing registration document is a simple form to advise what property you are looking for. It doesn't ask for financial information so it can't even be due to a vetting procedure. It just screams bad practice. I wouldn't waste your time if you are trying to buy

Had the pleasure of dealing with Finn's during the purchase of our new house, they were by far the most straight talking and proactive agent I've come across. Managed the chain very well with regular contact, would recommend to anyone and use again.

Do not use the letting side of Finn's. They are not professional, constantly moaning about the landlord. The property I rented should not have been rented out in its condition. The itinerary they did, was not even close to the actual condition of the property. They apparently had it professionally cleaned before moving in, but it was very dirty. On their inspections while I was there, they said it was being kept immaculate and yet they had the nerve to email me on how to clean and what products to use when moving out. On check out she was running her hand on the units etc to see if it was clean because I said I had cleaned it myself. I have rented before with different agents but never been treated so condescending or discourteous until now.

I wouldn't recommend Amos after my recent experience.

Staff don't seem particularly helpful and are rude. There are so many agents to choose from in Benfleet/Hadleigh, go with someone who is more pleasant to deal with.

I recently rented a property through Williams & Donavan, I dealt with a lettings negotiator called Lorraine... very happy with the service and nothing was to much trouble, she was brilliant at guiding me through the rental and any questions I had were quickly answered and she always replied to all my emails and calls. I have found this to be a rare quality in lettings negotiators so I can't rate them highly enough.

Amos treated me well. They were very efficient. I could talk to them about any queries I had & they would answer my questions or sort out my query promptly & professionally. Emma was great sorting out any queries I had when the sale had gone through. Andrew worked really hard in getting people through the door to view my property, he also showed people round when I couldn't, nothing was too much trouble for him. Andrew kept me informed every step of the way with each enquiry who was interested in my property. Andrew is an asset to Amos. I would definitely recommend Amos, the team made my experience selling my home with ease.
