Denise at W&D Hockley, has been an absolute superstar. We purchased from them, and sold our house via another agent. She has been so warm, approachable and efficient is all communication. Despite my constant badgering, pregnant, hormonal ramblings, she never left me hanging and always fought our corner. More so than our own agent!! We really appreciated all the effort from Williams and Donovan (Hockley) throughout our move. We put our house on the market and it sold within 2 weeks! We couldn’t believe it. All throughout the sale and purchase process the staff at W&D (especially Denise) were superb. They kept me suitably informed and when we had little snags (as there inevitably are) like a last minute request to change a completion date on the exchange date, to quote Denise, she “stuck her pointy shoes on and put her foot down” and completion happened on the originally planned date without a hitch! I would absolutely recommend them!

Hugely capable & competent. Very reassuring from start to finish. Having bought and sold a few times through the Hockley branch. All the team there are so friendly, helpful, down to earth and approachable, to the point where I'm actually going to miss speaking to them. They always return calls and reply when they say they're going to, via phone and email, but most importantly they all work as a team. I wouldn't recommend Amos after my recent experience.

Staff don't seem particularly helpful and are rude. There are so many agents to choose from in Benfleet/Hadleigh, go with someone who is more pleasant to deal with.

I usually never post negative reviews but I couldn’t quite believe how rude and pretentious not just one but several of the employees here were when I made inquiries about lettings. I was consistently met with an attitude which communicated they weren’t bothered about my interest (e.g. no call backs or emails, no one answering the phones, etc). When I did finally reach someone I was polite each time and did express my frustration calmly, but the response was very dismissive and unprofessional with no apologies. Take it for what it is but it left me to feel it would be a nightmare to let with them anyway...
