Good people, they are so helpful, and help you for you not just try to rent you a random house. 5/5 keep the good work up.
I am currently renting a property from Dockside in Marina Heights...what an AWFUL company to deal with, they couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag! The property is brilliant, unfortunately they couldn't seem to arrange for contracts to be issued, keys handed over, transfer of utilities, will only issue one key and electronic entry for the building despite it being a 2 bedroom property, and 3 weeks later I am still waiting for my parking permit for the 'parking space which is included with the property'.
Try and get as much dealt with up front and if you can use a different agent for the property, do!
Miles and Barr were excellent agents. They were realistic with their pricing and gave helpful advice on what I could do inside the property to help achieve the highest price. They were proactive and intelligent about bringing the right people around to view meaning I got a sale quickly (7 weeks). They arranged viewings before my property went “live” online rather than waiting. Communication was constant, I never had to ring them as they were organised and efficient in ringing and emailing me. I would definitely use them again.
We found Miles and Barr efficient and helpful.Good communication from them.Would definitely recommend you use them if you have a property for sale in Canterbury.
The best estate agents. Managed to sell my home, when my neighbours agents were not so successful. The team at Godwin Curtis are friendly, honest professional great communicators and maintain an attention to detail that makes the difference. Highly recommend
We recently finished a short term tenancy managed by this company. Before we moved in we were assured that the property would be thoroughly cleaned first but in fact it was absolutely filthy.
After a few weeks we found that not all the utilities had been transferred to our name and we were told by this company to do their work for them by making the arrangements ourselves, which we refused to do.
All the heating and hot water failed during a spell of cold weather, also there was a sound of leaking water. We were totally dissatisfied by the speed with which this company reacted to this problem which was caused, according to the plumber who eventually turned up, by the fact that the central heating had never been serviced.
The only time that anyone came to inspect the property on the landlord's behalf was the day before the tenancy was due to expire. They expressed surprise that we were packed up and ready to leave, apparently because we had mentioned several months earlier that we might request a short extention of our tenancy. They then argued that, as we had not said that we did not require an extension we owed a month's rent in lieu of notice. Needless to say we refused to pay.
I have not generally enjoyed my dealings with estate agents over the years, but I found my dealings with Godwin Curtis the least enjoyable of the lot. Not recommended for either landlords or tenants!
mber Woodward have been great from start to finish. Very professional but with empathy. Would highly recommend this Estate Agents.
We are a week away from completing our sale & purchase with Kimberwoodward & without their positivity & persistence I'm not sure we'd have made it this far.we found them very professional from the start but when needed ,provided that personal touch.Christine(Whitstable office) was a brilliant listener & is a real asset to the business.not going to be in a hurry to move again but if ever we did,Kimberwoodward would be the first place we called.
Excellent : efficient, knowledgeable an so friendly and helpful; Kellie alwaya fitted in with my preferred schedule, and took the stress out of selling on a day to day basis.
Pure incompetence. Yes, I am a student but that doesn’t allow you to ignore my complaints and never call me back. The lack of communication between their collegues lead to my flatmate sleeping in my bed for 2 weeks. Either none of them knew the details of our property or landlord, or they simply didn’t want to deal with our complaints. I spent so much time and money on the phone and going down their trying to sort out the issues with our property despite paying them a £240 admin fee. Would never use them again.
