As a tenant, I have had no problem with Reades. There are times when I feel like they are a bit slow in responding the emails, but at the end of the day it's fine. I wouldn't hesitate to take a property managed by Reades again.
This will be my first and last time using Reades estate agents. I appreciate we can not determine who chooses to use which estate agents to rent out properties.
Renting as a tenant, I would not recommend using this company. And if you are a landlord, unfortunately you will have a very unhappy tenant.
When organising inspections, they don’t communicate via phone or letter, simply via email to make you aware of an inspection date.
If you do not keep up with your emails you will be greeted with an independent inspector, who without permission walks into your home.
Whilst in bed after working a night shift, I was very alarmed and harassed by this when finding a chap stood in my living room.
No written apology was made by Reades, and was not addressed with the inspector.
Unfortunately, I am having to leave this review as very poor customer service.
I wouldn’t usually leave feedback, but in this instance I feel people should be made aware.
When I moved out of the property, keys were handed back and all rent was paid up to date.
I was informed the landlord needed to review the check out inspection, and a decision would be made once that was done.
Now 10 days later and after numerous calls to Reades I have heard nothing.
In my opinion as I am no longer a tenant, my needs do not matter. I have a lot of money sat in a deposit protection scheme, that should of been refunded back to me within 10 working days, according to the government website.
If anyone is thinking of renting with Reades, I can not stress this enough to think about other options before doing so.

The lettings team (Fraser and Katherine) were very professional, polite, helpful and always to the point. We found an amazing house which would become our HOME.

The most unprofessional service ever. The letting team had no idea if what they were doing. They took no responsibility for mistakes made and openly blamed each other, the company's second branch and us! They offered no appolog and offered us the option of taking the tenants they'd vetted to court at our expense! No world to describe this shambolic behaviour.
We needed to secure a tenancy at short notice and whilst some other letting agents were perhaps less than helpful William Gleave were by contrast fantastic and ensured that we were able to move into a lovely property with time to spare. In addition any issues that arose were dealt with promptly and always to our satisfaction. But perhaps the most important thing is that every member of staff we dealt with were endlessly polite and friendly, and made the tenancy a very enjoyable experience.
The service and communications was excellent from both Tom and Jill, i could not have asked for a better team to lead and sell my property which exceeded my expspectations.
There professionalism and experience on all occassions in dealing with my questions and seeking advise was second to none which is a credit to both.
I would have no hesitations in seeking there services again or more importantly recommending both to potential buyers or sellers.

Truly amazing!! We had our property on the market with another local estate agent for two and half years and only had 14 viewings in all that time.
Totally fed up, I went into NH4U on the Monday and spoke to Shelly. The next morning Rich [the boss] came to view our property; straight away his passion convinced me that if anyone could sell our property, this was the guy to do it. Rich then arranged for a photographer to come that afternoon. Things were moving fast! But then, even better, Phil [NH4U] phoned to say we had a viewing lined up for the next day … Wha!
This is where it got even more amazing as, the next day, Arwel [NH4U] phoned to say we had an offer for exactly the asking price. Done deal!
The speed at which all this happened is all down to Rich and his amazing team who, without any doubt, share the same passion as himself - an amazing guy.
