So far my experience with Belvoir Manchester Central has been great.
Eddie and Megan have been very cooperative and extremely flexible when it's come to securing a rental in Manchester. I was on holiday for the house viewing (The only time the tenant could make), and Eddie was able to answer all questions through my friend's skype call. I was also able to secure the place with Eddie's regular communication - knowing how busy the current Manchester scene is at the moment I was appreciative doing all this abroad.
Also, Megan has been helpful when it's come to submitting the application and answering all queries on the phone.

I’m a student at Manchester University and I stayed in a place advertised by Belvoir. Initial process was fairly straightforward and they managed to get the documents signed fairly quickly. When I first moved in there was some clear maintenance issues, things which were simple to fix. I was prompt about emailing the agency about these issues and only received responses after persistent nagging via email and phone call. Eventually they sent a handy man to review the issues, but they didn’t actually fix them. These included broken door handles, extensive damp and mould, lack of blinds in one of the rooms and many others. Over the course of 11 months they ignored all requests to fix such problems. The mould issue was an extreme case with the en-suite bathroom being covered top to bottom in a mould which would grow back in a space of days even after wiping it clean (I have many pictures and videos to prove this if anyone needs further validation). This was a major hazard to health and was completely disregarded by those who worked at Belvoir. To top this off, they charged us a ridiculous cleaning fee after we left, despite the fact we had cleaned the flat in a cleaner state than we moved in. Unprofessional, lazy and full of excuses, avoid this letting agency at all costs and go with someone with more respect and regard for their customers!... Read more

By far, the worst agency I’ve ever dealt with. The property managers never get back you. Any simple maintenance issue takes months to resolve. They will give you every excuse under the sun when you finally get through. Avoid at all costs. This is a loose loose situation. Your better spending a little bit more somewhere else.... Read more

Relocating from London to Manchester is not easy, I can't imagine how chaotic it would be without her help~
I saw the property advertised on RightMove, wasn't able to attend the viewing as I was in London. As Belvoir is a well-known property agency, based on trust, I emailed Belvoir Manchester and made an offer.
Megan replied to all my emails and questions timely and in detailed, the whole process was smooth and professional - submitted application through their online panel, submitted documents for reference check, made payment securely with unique reference code.
Got the keys and moved in on agreed date, saw the apartment first time (was a little bit worried to be honest, didn't know what to expect because I didn't attend the viewing), but the actual apartment turns out to be the same as the photos advertised on RightMove. So relieved~
Now I have moved in for a week, spotted some little problems that need to be maintained, submitted my check in comments and photos as evidence through their online panel, hopefully everything will be solved soon x... Read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please stay clear of this so-called "agency", which will consistently ignore your important maintenance issues, be extremely disorganised and condescending over the phone, and ask for rent increases out of the blue. Having ended our tenancy well over three months ago, we have just managed to get our deposit back after a lengthy dispute through a third party. Their claim? Our agent 'hadn't received' the email confirming our intent to move out (and apparently the reminder we had sent after that) and was claiming an extra month's rent for a lack of formal notice. We are only now getting our money back after several months of struggling financially because of their unprofessionalism. I have never seen that in my many years of renting. I haven't even mentioned how they wrongly advertised the council tax band of the property when we first moved in, which we were shocked to discover was much more expensive than advertised when we received the first bill (at least they apologised, I guess). Stay well clear of Belvoir Manchester Central if you want to avoid many sleepless nights of worrying.... Read more

Absolutely disgusting service. Seriously stay away from them. I contacted them on the 27/09 and they literally replied back to my email today 20/10. Its nearly a month.not professional, constant mis communication, ive asked my landlord details so i dont have to deal with them but have been denied this. How do they expect people to deal with them directly if they are so unresponsive and provide non to little help. 1 star is too much for these guys. Oh also they have a high turn over in staff so no one has a clue what they are doing.. STAY AWAY AND READ THEIR REVIEWS ITS ALL TRUE AND LANDLORDS DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!... Read more

Absolutely ridiculous agency, shoddy as anything. Multiple things they said they would fix or change (such as carpet in the en-suite, who the hell in their right mind would put carpet in a bathroom?!) prior to us moving in and yet 8 months later has still not been resolved. They have avoided all my emails and the maintenance man they have sent on numerous occasions has been completely useless - he told us it was pointless to even raise issues with the flat because Belvoir would not do anything. This letting agent is my worst nightmare. Caine took my holding fee also 6 months rent, then didn’t reply to any emails or answer any of my phone calls…. Then 7 days later, the manager informed me the apartment is not available anymore. Caine says the landlord doesn’t want me to move in anymore because of I’m a student, and manager says it’s because there’s a leaking problem which will takes months to be fixed.
Full of lies and excuses. I nearly became a homeless lol, that’s how good their service is. They even suggested me to move in an Airbnb… Plzzzzz avoid them... Read more

Ive been trying to sort out an ongoing dispute with Belvoir Manchester City Centre branch. A flat Belvoir are managing had a leaking toilet that resulted in ££££'s damage caused to my flat. Despite my numerous emails and phone calls Kash Asif from Belvoir has not responded. Everytime I speak to him he fobs me off. I would stay well clear of this agent as they are not professional in what they do. Kash if you read this I'm still waiting for you to respond otherwise I will have to take legal action.... Read more

Viewing was awful. The property we wanted to view wasn't available, conveniently though there was the old line 'since we are here let me show you other properties that cost more'. And the building was damp and mouldy. The estate agent did his best but he was getting scolded over the phone for something that was not his fault but management's. So unprofessional to talk to your staff like that, let alone when you know he is stood with us. Please avoid, this agency don't care about you.... Read more
