Bentley Hurst supported me through the purchase of my first home, and whilst my conveyancer was my main point of contact, Rebecca and James helped me massively, particularly in aiding communication between myself and the seller. Having not purchased a house before, I did find the process confusing at points in knowing who to contact for each bit and when I should expect certain updates by, but Rebecca was super helpful throughout and definitely saved my sanity when I wasn’t getting responses from my conveyancer! Overall from a buyer’s perspective I was very happy with the support I received from Bentley Hurst, including timely updates, support booking viewings, and general moral support when the sale was dragging a bit due to enquiries further up the chain. Would recommend if you’re looking for someone to give a great experience to your future buyer!... Read more

Overall I was content with the service provided by Bentley Hurst in the sale of my property - largely helped by Rebecca & James in the sales negotiation support after an offer was made and Poppy for being an efficient and pleasant estate agent. That being said there are some areas of room for improvement: - I was passed to a different estate agent for the space of a week or two and then handed back to my original estate agent with no clear reason as to why - Bookings were made to view the property without checking my availability first, which led to some frustrations - I was not introduced directly to the sales negotiating team upon an offer being accepted and therefore when we encountered issues in communication in the sale process I had no idea who to contact and there were no proactive updates. A small change such as this to the processes would help the experience from a seller point of view... Read more

since the start of beginning of the purchase process Bentley Hurst- Estate agents have shown nothing but perfect professionalism and incredible customer support, their staff is as kind and helpful as can be and they make sure that they keep you updated on new news regarding what you may be interested in. Poppy Carter???? my Sales & Lettings Consultant was amazing in doing in her job, there is not a single complaint that can be said or mentioned, She was very professional and efficient making sure everything is being done as fast as possible. First off, good experience overall and I'd have happily posted 4.5 if Google had allowed it. For speed and attention, we’re glad we chose to use an independent agent rather than a national one. We’d consider using them again in future. Service used: just the tenancy find What they did well: James said at the first meeting that he was confident they could find a tenant within 1.5 weeks. And they did! 10 out of 10 for the most important marker. Also, the 3D filming/photo/ad were all done within 2 days. Top efficiency. Poppy then followed up on most of the rest and was always quick to respond and to the point. Where they could improve: As it was our first time using an agent / using their online system, they would do well in perhaps explaining a bit more about the process / system, what we needed to do, etc.....
