Everyone I encountered was warm, professional, and kept me very much in the know. Hi. So very disappointed with this letting agent named Keiren. He was 10 min late, parked his car like he does not care if its in the way. He had dinner on his shirt and after he opened the door of the property we were just about to see. The smell of wee just completely changed our mind and decided we are not going yo seee any more further. What a horrible experience ????

Moving home is probably one of the most stressful times in your lifetime, but we can honestly say that the whole Brockenhurst team make it so much easier. Matt was excellent from the very start talking me through the entire process, from marketing the property through to viewings and the sales strategy.
Julie, Sarah and Kian were excellent for the viewings, coming round and understanding the property and the neighbours.
The viewings process was excellent, building up the interest and conducting a viewings day after listing, our property was under offer within a couple of weeks of listing!
Our move manager, Dawn was fantastic. Absolutely incredible with pulling together all information from all parties to ensure that everything went as smooth as possible during the sale and purchase of our next property!

They have been great with keeping me up to date with every step in the selling process and radiate nothing but positive energy throughout the sale of the property.
Even though we had some hiccups along the way with buyers falling through they sprang into action and got the process restarted within a matter of hours, as well as maintaining the positive view point.
The Open Days for the property were arranged very well, with a good notification system so I was kept informed of the timeframes of when viewings were going to take place.

A huge thank you to the Basingstoke team! Right from the start we were given a 5-star service. As soon as we expressed an interest in selling up Sarah was around in a timely fashion, really polite and talked us through all the details. Within days we had the rest of the team around getting familiar with the house to sell it, photo’s taken and it was on the market and sold within days. After that we were handed over to the lovely Dawn, Saint Dawn, Hero Dawn! The sale started to slow down due to issues at the top of the chain, nothing to do with Brockenhurst at all but Dawn to the rescue stepped in got us all back on track and pushed for a completion asap. Her communication was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you so much Dawn you kept myself and the hubby sane, we honestly could not have done this without you. We all know the reputation that estate agents have, but I'm pleased to say that Brockenhurst continue to buck this trend! I have much appreciated their continued care, attention to detail and customer service since their first approach when in Spring 2023 they facilitated the sale of my house on Sherfield Park. My previous estate agent had been fine until the house was under offer, but then I needed to do all the chasing, whereas Brockenhurst called me each week to update on progress and were proactive in ensuring that the buyers and their solicitor was doing what they needed to.
More recently, and on account of their previous excellent customer service, a fellow Executor of a late friend's estate and I commissioned Brockenhurst to market her apartment. The property market has not been great and so it has taken much longer than was ideal to sell the flat and so we are both grateful to Dawn and Matt for their persistence and care to enable us to have - at last - now completed on the sale.
I remain very grateful to Brockenhurst for their excellent service and am pleased to be able to continue to endorse them as a business seeking to establish themselves better in Basingstoke.

Once the purchase had been agreed, they just ghosted us. Phone calls requesting updates were always met with 'we'll find out and call you back shortly'. They never called back, ever. I don't feel like they did much to help the transaction go through - in the end we were getting information from a different estate agent further up the chain who we had used for a sale recently (thanks to Property Explorer!), and I know my sellers were doing the same! I am glad I never have to deal with them again quite frankly.

Sarah was good from the outset but towards the end of the process leading up to exchange we were looked after by Dawn - how lucky was that! The measure of any company is not when it goes to plan but when it doesn’t! We had a little hiccup and Dawn was simply wonderful in keeping us fully informed and making calls to ease our concerns. Of course she was looking after her client but she went that extra mile for us as well. After much searching, I finally managed to narrow my choices down to two properties, one of which was listed with Brockenhurst, After arranging a viewing I was met at the property by Kian, who couldn’t have been more helpful.
He was quick to follow up after the viewing as well and answer any questions I had. So, I was happy to arrange a second viewing…
After I made Kian aware that I was a first time buyer, he was very good at going through my requirements and talking me through the house, liaising with the vendor to answer any further questions, and even pointing out things to me that I hadn’t thought to ask.
The two properties that I’d narrowed my search down to were so very similar that it was ultimately Kian’s professionalism and friendly approach that helped making such a difficult decision easier.
So far, I’m glad that the house I’ve chosen was listed with Brockenhurst as they have been a pleasure to deal with.

Complacency at its best!
Following the acceptance of the offer there was no outbound communication, no progression and no reassurance that everything was moving along, if it were not for the estate agency we were selling through we would not have a clue what was happening or have been in our new home before Christmas.
It started off badly and then got worse, approximately a month after our offer being accepted our new home was listed as their property of the month which was rather alarming; following that no outbound correspondence from the moment the offer was accepted. The icing on the cake was all of the offices being closed on the day of exchange, luckily the old owners were still in the property or we would have incurred additional stress and costs for storage and a hotel as we would not have been able to get the keys.
In the day our contracts exchanged it took Brockenhurst two and a half hours to inform us of the good news which again the estate agents we were selling through and solicitors had informed us.
When we were called on day of completion as the offices were closed we were assured a personal visit the following day, at 5pm no visit and no phone call to their office to be assured we would have been visited later in the evening!
As an apology Matt has put £50 behind the local bar, a gesture that although appreciated is to little to late, for a purchase of this scale you would expect an estate agent to do anything bad the bare minimum.
Unfortunately when buying a house you can not choose who you buy from but would recommend to anyone if at all possible give Brockenhurst a wide berth, if your selling there are much better agents in town who will look after both you and your buyers and ensure the process goes smoothly...

I found the viewings arranged by Matthew and Bayleigh to be enjoyable and informative and after my offer was accepted on a house they found for me, they both acted professionally with every query I had over the 3 months plus process. Towards the end of the process Michael McClure, Move Manager was in constant contact updating me on the closing stages of the purchase, along with Matthew. We’ve had an absolutely fantastic service from everyone at Brockenhurst during the process of selling our house and would recommend to anyone looking to sell their property or purchase another.
With 3 small children, our lives are often stressful but there was no stress with Brockenhurst. We felt valued and not just a number like at some other estate agents.
We had contact with another agent and were thinking of going on the market with them but after meeting Matt we had such a positive experience that there was really no contest about which agent we would be using!
Brockenhurst had a great selection of prospective buyers already on their books that they had lined up lots of viewings on our house before the listing even went live and it sold within a couple of days which took a lot of stress out of the selling process.
During our purchase and selling processes, Bayleigh, Sarah and Matt have been there every step of the way to give us informed advice, a friendly chat and shown us some fantastic properties. Everyone at Brockenhurst is so helpful and efficient and I’ve really enjoyed having them as our agents. Even the solicitor they recommended was excellent! We decided to sell through Brockenhurst due to how friendly and helpful Matt and the team were. The first week or so we had great communication setting up photos, viewings, up to the point of offer. Sadly after we accepted an offer the communication drifted off.
I would have to chase several times to get answers or information hadn't been passed to myself. Bayleigh had been our negotiator and would promise call backs and they wouldn't happen, I would chase in our WhatsApp group but I'd find it easier going directly to Matt and Sarah by calling Brocknhurst directly.
Overall our experience was fine Matt and Sarah are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, however we did feel slightly disappointed by being left in the dark at times where things hadn't been communicated to us and I felt like I was the one always pushing for info.

I'm so glad we decided to give Brockenhurst a try. After being sat on the market for along time with nothing happening, and having had a very stressful year. We decided to switch to Brockenhurst. The team are fantastic I love that after the initial meeting with Matt his team then came to see our property too and chat with us. It meant that they all had the same information and whoever would be doing the viewing knew about our house. They are an incredibly enthusiastic and passionate team who all work very hard to sell your home. We had lots of viewings coming through the door finally, and we were kept informed throughout. When we reached the two week mark Matt sat down with us to discuss were we where with things. I think this is great, as it keeps the communication between yourselves and the estate agent, and gives you a realistic view of things and gets everyone on the same page. More importantly Brockenhurst sold our house pretty quickly and stayed enthusiastic throughout the whole process. They were very driven and hard working. After a very difficult time for us we are finally feeling the excitement of moving again. Thankyou so much Matt, Sarah and Bayleigh. Cannot recommend this team enough and in my opinion having worked with a couple of estate agents in the area, these guys are by far the best.

Brockenhurst Estate Agents are a fantastic team, headed by Sarah who we had alot of dealings with, nothing is too much trouble, encouraged us to ask as many questions as we needed and had all the answers, Sarah also helped us in other area's ie mortgage advisors etc.
When Sarah came to our home to do a valuation nothing was rushed and gave us a realistic valuation, also explaining the whole next process so we never felt out of the loop, it was just like having a friend round for a coffee, like I said before nothing is too much.
We hasn't come across Brockenhurst Estate Agents before and was presently surprised, especially staying in contact via phone rather than just emails.
When we went to view the property we was interested in, there was no rush in looking around and was told we could return to view again whenever we wanted,
I would recommend this company time and time again.
