Abbotts - Cambridge

As We were looking houses to buy. Lee Morris from Abbotts really helped us. She is very kind, honest and helpful. Also she explained all the details about the process and the house environment. We are lucky to meet her. Thank you Abbotts and Lee.

My experience with Abbotts has been consistently miserable: 1. I wanted to arrange a viewing (to buy) at a property in Girton and was told that I would have to wait 3 weeks as the tenants were away. When I arrived at the appointment I found that the property had been sold during that time! 2. Before looking for properties to buy, we let a property through Abbotts. They initially quoted fees of over £600 to photocopy a tenancy agreement, more than double of any of their competitors. When challenged they reduced the fees to £300, still more than their competitors. I hate to think that people actually fall for this. 3. As a part of the fees we paid for a moving in inventory. We were pressed to sign a document saying that we had seen this and agreed to it. When I asked to see it I was given an OLD inventory and finally the agent confessed to having forgeten to arrange it! By this point we were already moved in so the subsequent inventory was redundant, leaving both the landlord and us exposed. Abbotts, in my opinion, are an unpleasant combination of greedy and incompetent. I will not view any properties that they advertise and I make my feeling known to everyone I know. This industry needs an overhaul.

Martin & Co - Cambridge

191 Mill Road,Cambridge

We have been working with Martin & Co Cambridge for a number of years, we have always found the dedication and professionalism they offer their clients very impressive. We look forward to many years of business together.

Nick Morton

We gave them the keys to our property to let in June. Despite a number of attempts to contact the agent. He never returned my or my partners call. Claiming they were extremely busy during covid. Lost at least 2-3 months of rent on a property. When we finally decided to call it a day and requested our key back. The agent called back in 5 mins total fake and unprofessional. Avoid!

Vincent Shaw - Cambridge

1 The Broadway,Cambridge

Vincent Shaw took over my tenancy when the previous estate agents went out of business and frankly left all sorts of messes behind. They made sure my deposit was protected (which is wasn't initially) and handled the transition smoothly. During my time in the apartment managed by them they were always quick to respond to issues. Having just moved out this week I can say the checkout process was speedy and very fair, with them returning my full deposit.

Vincent Shaw are an extremely bad estate agent if you are arranging rental contracts or tenant referencing. Uncommunicative and inadequate implementation. We went elsewhere in the end. Would recommend you do too.

Century 21 - Peterborough

4 Cowgate,Peterborough

We had a number of viewings with C21 and although we didn't buy anything through them, we found them the most helpful Agent of all. It was our first time viewing properties in Peterborough and we will certainly be using them whenever we look to sell. Very helpful and an excellent customer service, we didn't find them pushy and they were very knowledgeable on the properties we viewed with them. Ben & Perry were very helpful in arranging all of these viewings for us. All the best in the future! SM

It was indeed a great experience. i am thankful to century for being the best support. Being a student it was tough to find a right property. But thanks to the team for all the help. Special Thanks to Tamara and Rhyan.

Worst service received from an estate agent. The most disgusting and unprofessional behavior. I was looking for a commercial space and came across their advert on Rightmove. Took them few days to arrange viewing and once I viewed the property, I offered the full rental asking price and offered to pay 1 year’s rent in advance. Two months on and after 4 visits to their office and several phone calls I’m still waiting for the person that deals with that property to get back to me. Seems like no one knows what’s going on in that office. Absolute joke. I would never use them and would suggest everyone to stay away as they are very unprofessional.
