When you're relocating to another country, the most important thing is to find a nice place to live and someone you can confide in helping you achieve that goal. If you are a landlord avoid using the Newmarket Branch to manage your property like the plague.
I am a tennant and the staff are absolutely useless. They are also very rude and unprofessional. I am constantly chasing up emails, things that need fixing etc. Communication is shocking at the best at times, non existent at worst. I feel sorry for the landlord who is probably completely unaware of how rubbish they are.

I went through the letting department of Cheffins in Newmarket, and they were great! Niamh did an awesome job showing the house, and making it feel like somewhere I would want to live. Teresa has been on point in resolving minor maintenance concerns and questions! I had a very good experience with Cheffins, our property sold very quickly and the staff were helpful and courteous. Richard, who dealt with us was very friendly and his advice was professional and well considered, he even came back on a sunny day to take an external photo for the details as it was dull and overcast when the rest of the photos were taken.

I had the dubious honour of buying the house that cheffins had on their books for the longest time, which it has to be said is something two other estate agents failed sell before it ended up with Cheffins. Aside from a slight hiccup half-way through the buying process (which to be fair took 18 months) when the person we were dealing with left the company, they were a pleasure to deal with and kept in contact throughout. They were always willing to send someone over to let us view the house, which we did many times over that year and a half.
This was a difficult purchase for many reasons entirely unrelated to the estate agent, and they dealt with it efficiently and with good humour throughout the buying process.
