We had decided to move and as seasoned removers(22 moves not including this one,as with two professionals, one of us was always being promoted or relocated) I did the obvious and looked at local estate agent reviews. We didn’t want to use the agency we’d bought our property from as although undoubtedly large, we didn’t like their somewhat ( in our view, aggressive) approach towards us as buyers. We saw your TV advert and were intrigued. Brendon came and evaluated the property and the price concurred with our own assessment. We sold in less than 24 hours but that then collapsed, however a sale swiftly followed thereafter. Throughout,Brendan and team were positive, even though I had my doubts following the initial failure . Never before have I ever wanted to recognise the efforts of an estate agent - after all, as all agents get a substantial fee per sale, so you don’t need to offer anything else. However,I was so impressed, boxes of biscuits as chocolates were despatched to the Penrith/Cockermouth offices to reflect the quality of the service provided. David Britton had some good ideas about marketing the property. The early stages were a bit rocky, as the business was expanding quickly, and we sometimes felt that nothing was happening, and we were in the dark. But communication and service improved as we went on, and new staff were taken on. Now, we'd recommend them for sales in the North Cumbria area as the Cockermouth office is up and running. The plan is to expand into south Cumbria with an office in Kendal.... Read more
