Bought a David Wilson Homes 3 bed town house 4 months ago and we’re over the moon with it! Very well built house, great design, spacious rooms, fantastic location & excellent customer service - nothing is too much trouble for site manager Olu & his site team who have gone to great lengths to finish off any little snags we found along the way! Highly recommended.... Read more

Over half a year of living in a David Wilson hell.
Reserved in September and promised a December completion. Advised 4 weeks later it would be March.
Advised in January it would be complete end of April, after reviewing their build timeline I suggested May was more realistic. I was told I was wrong and it would be end of April.
First week of April and completion is moved to the end of May.
Upon a visit to measure for flooring the front door was damaged due to an open flamed heater and we noticed the kitchen units which had been fitted were two different colours and incorrect. Two weeks later and nobody from the site team had even noticed or reported it.
Advised of date for NHBC inspection. I contact in the afternoon requesting the outcome and told NHBC has postponed and didn't supply a reason. A visit to the site that day revealed the exteriors of the house yet to be completed.
From my experience anyone you speak to is powerless to say or do anything other than the official company published build schedule and that any movement from this is completely unexpected and not their fault.
If you buy be prepared to wait... Read more

Too many houses and blocks of flat are packed in this land. District heating is not tested and a bad idea for this development. Overpriced? Yes, but this is not specific to this development. Thanks to HelpToBuy funding, all new developments are now 10-15% overpriced compare to their equivalent existing houses.... Read more
