I have been with Empire Estates as a landlord for several years and have received excellent service from them. It is reassuring to know they are always there to help me when needed. Maisie is always on the ball and sorts things out when needed in a matter of minutes rather than hours. She is always polite and helpful either on the phone, in person or by email and never lets her high standard of customer service drop - she is a true asset to the running of the business.

Where do I start. Very unprofessional, full of lies. Tenants paying on time, empire estate messing about with payment’s .shame on them. Nelson empire estate smells of bio. Would not recommend them to anyone. Worst experience ever. Stay away from agents like them. Don’t get trapped in their sweet talk, it’s all a con.

Want to thank Empire Estates for going above & beyond from my very first enquiry to finding the perfect property literally from start to finish of my letting process I really couldn’t recommend them enough . I had a fault with my boiler in my new property yesterday and within a couple of hours I had a engineer out an a new boiler fitted . The staff and the owners of Empire Estates are such hard-working and dedicated people that I have ever come across. I would recommend this estate agent all day long as I have worked for them too and they are professionals in their field. Don't bother listening or getting put off by bad reviews from people as they are the ones that were most probably in the wrong in the first place as usual.

I went to a viewing with my friend and the owner made us feel so uncomfortable. He was looking us up and down. First experience I had from an estate agent that vets their tenants with their eyes, very over friendly! Not professional.
One of my other friends rented a property from him before but she said had a bad experience where works didn’t get done she said the owners are promiscuous old men who do whatever they can to draw you in then it’s all about money grabbing. They blame the landlord when works don’t get done but the landlord always said it was them in end. The women that work for them kept there probably experience the same because they don’t last. They don’t even deserve 1star but at least people can state the facts. You think it’s just rumours until you experience for yourself. Wouldn’t recommend having anything to do with this place should you know what’s good for you

I consider it prudent to write a honest & accurate review on account of the several years of business dealings I’ve had with Empire Estates.
We as a family own a relatively large portfolio of properties in Lancashire which are exclusively managed by Empire Estates.
My experience with EE has been extremely pleasant over the course of the years. They have dealt with my concerns diligently, professionally and expeditiously. The rent has always been credited in the account in a timely fashion. Any non emergency works have been carried out perfectly and the team at EE collectively deserve praise & recognition for the exemplary work they’ve carried out under the leadership of Kabeer.
To conclude, I would gladly recommend both landlords & tenants to consider the services of EE despite the negative reviews some individuals have seen fit to write however my reviews have neither been manipulated or fabricated, this is clearly an honest account of my individual experience with EE.

I honestly wouldn't have even given this a 1 star rating but i had to give it a star. They were lovely when they were getting me into the house couldn't be more accommodating. Once my small children and I were in however we swiftly noticed a lot of issues with the house. As this was a rental property called them to arrange repairs, this did not happen instead they passed my number to the landlord without my permission and broke data protection laws. This was followed by an array of harassing messages from the landlord as I would not put my notice in with the agency. It turns out this was an issue the agency was having with the landlord and I had been stuck in the middle. Anyway long story short I was left in a property that was in a state of disrepair for over 6 months until i could get the bond together for a new property. The agency couldn't even be bothered to turn up to do the final walk through with me and the young lad at the Burnley office agreed that it was unprofessional of them not to go to the walk through. Either way I would not go anywhere near these guys as the property that was in a state of disrepair is now back on the rental market and the pictures are old. They couldn't even be bothered to update the info on the advert. Forewarning the windows leak and its basically not suitable for human habitation.

Started renting a property from the Nelson branch was then moved to the Burnley branch as they wanted nothing to do with the land Lord. Openly admitted the land Lord was not a nice man once we was already in a 6 month contract. Also passed our number onto landlord braking data protection law which then followed with alot of phone calls and texts from land Lord.

Extremely unprofessional, no understanding of client confidentiality, they use vulnerability and naivety of customers to take advantage of them to reduce the value of their home when in fact its worth more. I read bad reviews online before using this company and gave them the benefit of the doubt - dont make the same mistake I did! Shocking company wont think twice about ripping you off - tread carefully.
