Following on from my last review where I was assured I would receive my notice of my deposit being returned by Friday, where they asked me to delete my review if they did - OH LOOK I still don’t have it and am now being ignored by them. Mydeposit dispute will be maintained and legal action will be pursed. You are withholding our money. Sort it out.

2.5 months and I still don’t have my deposit back. Promised to have it last week, no show. Promised to have it this week - we’ll see. There’s no urgency and it feels as if the company does all in its power to get you to give up so they can keep your money. If I see my deposit in the account Friday, I’ll remove my review .

Zhiqi made this an incredibly smooth and swift process and she was very thorough in answering all of our initial questions. We look forward to seeing how the remainder of the buying process goes.

I've moved out two months ago and still haven't resolved my £2700 deposit issue, they are asking for £1500 to be deducted but this is unjust, it's been a month now since I argged as I don't have the landlord's contact details I can only go through the agent, I haven't had any replies from him about the landlord, not one word, I don't know how he works, he says he is always prompt and quick to dealt with my emails but the truth is that his replies are always irrelevant, they don't answer the question directly, they don't solve the problem, there could be three things in the email and he only talks about one thing and he passes the buck.

Unpaid invoices
As my previous review have been deleted, here is another one.
This company owes me more than £4k of unpaid invoices.
If you are new contractor that wants to works with them, think before you do!
I am inventory clerk, property’s inspection have been done and reports provided, and they have shared these reports with landlords and tenants, but EBI refuses to pay.
I know there are several other contractors that have not been paid as well, so stay away!
They make landlord paid for inventories, but never pay back to inventory clerk.
This company must be struggling financially if they cannot afford to pay £4k, be careful and think before working with them.

Habib at Ernest Brooks helped us through the process to arrange for repair works and reclaim the money from the tenants guarantor. Thankfully, we've now received the money to rectify the damage in the flat and only gained a few grey hairs.
Habib also worked a few late nights to make sure that everything was covered for us which was greatly appreciated.
So a big thank you for Habib for her endeavours in helping us through this nightmare and his very good work throughout the year when we needed tradesmen to rectify the usual normal issues that arose.

I wish I could give them 0 stars! I don't understand how this company could score 4.8 on Google Reviews, DEFINITELY STAY AWAY! Things started great when we rented our apartment with them in 2019, but our termination process was the most frustrating experience. Firstly, you can't speak with the same agent as they all churn in a month or two - we had to explain again and again our problem to 5 different people in 9months. And it's not that the new agent takes on your query, there was no communication. Second, they mischarged us, claiming significant sums need to be deducted from our deposit - we had to go through 4years of utility bills to prove they were wrong. Third, it took us 9months to sort out deposit and close our utility accounts (because one provider wanted confirmation from them to terminate our utility agreement). Because we refused to pay those bills in the meantime, we then had to deal with a credit company for unpaid debts we didn't own. This company is AWFULLY MANAGED and I wouldn't recommend it to tenants or property owners until they sort out their issues!!
