Really good agency and I would really recommend if you are interested in living in this area and want a good experience since in London is hard to get

It was an absolute pleasure working with Sam Agar from Winkworth's as a first-time buyer. Aside from being a general stand-up guy, Sam went above and beyond, suggesting reliable conveyancers, mortgage advisors, and surveyors. He was responsive even outside of typical office hours, responding promptly, and seamlessly coordinating between all parties involved.
Sam's made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was very pro-active and made sure that both sides felt re-assured and up-to date. I highly recommend Sam Agar for anyone seeking an exceptional estate agent. Thank you, Sam, for making my first home-buying experience so positive!

Awful experience. There was an undisclosed conflict of interest in that the property I rented was owned and managed by a close family member of the two directors. This fact and Winkworth’s unprofessionalism contributed to a horrendous tenancy.
When the landlord was unreachable on arranging repairs, Winkworth were unhelpful. When Winkworth attempted to “negotiate” a substantial out of schedule rent increase – contrary to the tenancy agreement – they threatened eviction and then simply stopped responding to emails after I offered to pay an RPI increase instead.
The landlord (I assume under advice from her family at Winkworth) then attempted to use a no-fault eviction, which failed because she had not provided any gas safety inspections. I made Winkworth aware of this and they remained silent. Landlord’s solicitors then began sending threatening letters and the landlord showed up unannounced and threw a fit.
Ultimately, I gave notice to end the tenancy, but even then Winkworth overstepped by falsely claiming that I was “required” to contract with a professional cleaning company as part of the move out (which they should know is illegal).
If only I could give zero stars.

We rented through this firm and it was an absolute disaster of a tenancy. Undisclosed conflicts of interest, several untruths regarding the property, no gas safety for nearly two years, 'managed' by the owner (family member of Winkworth), so I'm sure Winkworth will try and absolve themselves of any responsibility here. Ultimately we moved out due to an email from the 'lettings director' asking for a 50% rent increase, out of schedule and out of contract, to which we counter offered a reasonable increase and we just never received a reply from her. The owner then endeavoured to send us a Section 21 notice, which she couldn't do as there was no valid Gas Safety. What followed was a campaign of lawyers letters, the landlord showing up unannounced and having a breakdown, lies and dishonesty. We would have expected some advice from the agents at this stage, but Winkworth were silent. I've never ever seen such an appallingly bad display of unprofessionalism from agents in Central London.

Sam Agar was the Estate Agent , of Winkworth ,acting on behalf of the Seller, we were buying the property. Sam was extremely easy to deal with, very personable, professional, gave good advice, always answered emails or Whatsapp messages immediately. Although he acted for the seller, we felt he was acting on our behalf too, he expedited the sale completion within the time frame he gave us, He smoothed out any contentious issues, and answered all of our concerns and inquiries. . He gave us a good insight into the property market as we were ex Pat buyers.
We would highly recommend Sam Ager as an Agent & Winkworths as Estate Agents

I appointed Winkworths,South Kensington to sell my apartment as I felt they were the best choice because of local knowledge and realistic valuations. It sold very quickly at about the asking price .
Sam Agar has managed the whole process from agreed sale, exchange and completion in a very professional and charming way , nothing was too much trouble and I could not wish for better service in what can be a stressful time . Winkworths have both a happy Seller and happy Buyers , I cannot ask for more than that !

Searching for a rental flat in london is typically a daunting and laborious process, but Winkworth made it seamless this time around! Georgia was very knowledgeable and responsive through the entire process, and helped me find an amazing flat in Chelsea. Would highly recommend using them for your next flat search!

Really fond of Winkworth South Ken and especially Sam. We just sold our flat with them and Sam managed to find the right buyer and managed the entire process from A to Z with top notch service. Winkworth and Sam stood out from other agencies as they took the time to understand the history behind the ownership of our property along with the specificities of the property. This enabled them to calibrate the search and target the right buyer. Our flat had been with Foxtons for 2 years and despite them taking lots of buyers to see our property we never ever had credible buyers through the door!
Harry was also instrumental in the process here and we are very grateful for his help too.
Highly recommend these guys.
