I rented a room in the area in January via Hamptons of Belsize Park and found the agency to be very helpful. Shayan guided me through the process in a professional and friendly way and was always on hand by email, text or call to answer my queries and make the process as simple as possible. 10/10 would recommend.

I strongly advise you NOT TO USE Hamptons as agents on your sale.
I sold my property through Hamptons within the last few months and found them to be incompetent, lacking in moral character and professionalism throughout the sales process.
Hamptons fell well short of the minimum standards you would expect of an agent;
1. Inability to proactively manage the sales process resulting in significant delays to exchange
2. Despite claiming significant expertise, Jonathan Rose (senior agent at the branch) has a defeatist, pessimistic demeanour, regularly catastrophising issues rather than working with the client to resolve them
3. Agents appear to work in the best interests of the buyer, not the vendor, contrary to standard practice
4. Jonathan Rose was rude and unprofessional on numerous occasions - when challenged on approach, he has twice hung up the phone, showing a total lack of accountability - I received similar feedback on Jonathan from other parties in the chain
5. Another Hamptons agent shared, without my consent, personal health details with my buyer in order to “explain away” delays
6. Failed to achieve sales price they set, indicating lack of local market knowledge
If you want an agent that adds zero value, but still expects an exorbitant fee, go with Hamptons….
Edit: Hamptons are aware of this feedback and have done NOTHING. They admitted no fault, adjusted my fee by a token amount but threatened court action if I didn’t pay their full fee. Atrocious behaviour.

I bought my flat in Belsize Park through Mark at Hamptons. He was really helpful, gave great advice and really supported both the seller and I through the process. He also gave excellent recommendations of support services and generally was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much Mark, and, I'm super happy with the flat : )

Couldn't think of a worse experience than the one we had letting a unit from Hamptons. If you are debating whether to let your unit with them or to sign a unit that they are letting, beware and go elsewhere if possible. The agent, Mark, wilfully lied to us to convince us to let our unit. No matter what they respond to this review with, it was clear that they were well informed of a conflict in our lease and chose to mislead us into signing it. Realistically, we should have been more ruthless about the contract terms, but didn't realise that letting agents could act in such bad faith. I generally don't write reviews but felt like people deserve to be cautioned.

To avoid.
Didn’t comply with the notification eviction notice of the term of contract.
The agency is doing everything to not return the deposit despite the house was returned in the same condition (after only 11 months).

We really enjoyed renting a flat with the help of Hamptons real estate. Our agent, Mark was very professional and helpful. Whenever we needed his assistance he was available for us to call him and our move to our new flat was smooth and easy. There are not that many great real estate agencies out there, so we definitely recommend Hamptons. Thank you!

Viewed more than 40 flats in the past month, with numerous different agencies. Also, was able to compare the service of Hamptons with other agencies as my friends and colleagues had rented flats with different agencies. Hamptons is absolutely way better than any other agency.
Shayan was my agent, he was fast, caring and professional.
Would love to rely on Hamptons for my next rent.
