Since 2000 my wife and I bought two investment flats and sold three through Heywoods. The most recent sale completed last month. They brought a lot of knowledge of other transactions to the table which helped set a realistic selling price. The buyers they found were reliable and completed despite the inevitable hurdles set up by the solicitors. It was a delight working with professionals who were also so pleasant.

Angela, Darren, Jon and all the team at Heywoods were a big help in finding our investment property in a great location within Primrose Hill. In what proved to be a less than straightforward transaction (no fault of theirs) they were very communicative and transparent in managing or responding to sale, purchase and conveyancing enquiries.
The handover from the sales to the leasing team was seamless and efficient. As a result of their great service we have retained them for the management of our property.
We would highly recommend Heywoods in Belsize Park / Primrose Hill.

Renting from Haywoods for 4 years was a dream. Their white glove service exceeded my expectations at every turn - from minor fixes to major issues, the team responded swiftly and caringly so I always felt taken care of.
Whether it was arriving to repaint my neighbor's ceiling after a tricky leak or rushing to replace a fallen door, Haywoods sent knowledgeable professionals who not only solved problems completely but also explained things clearly and patiently. We even seamlessly communicated by email and WhatsApp when needed.
I never felt like just a tenant - Haywoods showed genuine care for me and the property. Their around-the-clock availability and cheerful, can-do attitude turned headaches into hassle-free resolution. Even amidst inevitable renting mishaps, I could rely on Haywoods to handle things promptly and positively.

It was time for me to retire, move to the Scottish Borders and sell my 3 bed 2 bathroom flat in central Hampstead where I’d lived for many years. The flat (twixt the High Street and the Heath) is one of 4 flats in a laterally converted Victorian villa, a couple of which had been sold over the years by Heywoods. More by way of starting the ball rolling than anything else I went to their office, met their team and was immediately impressed by their knowledge … of Hampstead, of the market and of the flat where I lived
Angela organised a floor plan, priced the property, arranged a declutter, called her contacts and the flat was sold before it was even advertised. And all the way from the verbally agreed sale thru to the legal completion Angela was on hand and proved a very useful conduit the between buyer and seller to make sure any questions and issues were identified and resolved before they became a problem. My husband and I bought a flat with Angela in the spring.
The process was easy and pleasant form the first interaction to the keys handover. Angela kept all parties involved and facilitated and prompted communications when needed.
She was available to show us the flat a few more times than usual and she accommodate our architect and builders as well.
I will recommend Heywoods to everybody and will definitely use her myself if needed.

We have just purchased our first home in NW3 with Heywoods estate agents and they have been amazing. Angela went above and beyond, personally helping orchestrate the process from first visit until move-in day. Her knowledge of Hampstead is unparalleled and we felt like we were in great hands. She took the time to explain everything, was flexible and patient, and provided useful local information. We could also see the great relationship she had built with the sellers. We visited around 45 places with different agencies, and the bespoke attention you get from an independent estate agency really does make a difference. I have just bought a property through Heywoods estate agent, and they have been superb. Their pre-sale help was excellent, and I could not have asked for more from their post-sale help.
Having spent a few months looking at many properties in St. Johns Wood, Swiss Cottage, Belsize Park, Hampstead, and surrounding areas, I have tried lots of estate agents. Heywoods made most of the others look like thin veneers in comparison.
I found them genuinely experienced, really knowledgable about the area, and have given great advice. While other estate agents were giving shallow promises about a property's potential, they demonstrated what they were saying by showing examples of other properties in the area.
Whereas many other estate agents had staff who were following a process because they did not have knowledge of their own, the people there helped using their genuine experience of the area.
I never really understood how small estate agents could compete against chains. However, now I can see how they do it. This agent is genuinely part of the community, even offering to look after my keys after purchase in case I lock myself out. Their knowledge of local suppliers and vendors is also very valuable.
The sales claims I received from other estate agencies about how they all give advice, consultation, and so on all seemed to be meaningless. However, now I have experienced Haywoods doing this properly, I can see that if done properly it's of great value. Their thorough advice about the properties and their experience is excellent to have.
I suspect that many agents show less interest after they have made the sale, but these people have been the reverse.
Other agencies are definitely not such integrated long term parts of the community. The office also seems to be the kind of agency where the people working there will stick around and not be so transient like with the big chains.
The way they are part of the local community and care about long term relationships means I trust them far more. I am very thankful for their diligence and help.
