For vendors and landlords, there is always a question of "do I choose one of the big national estate agents to sell or rent my property, or a more local and often smaller agent?" Well, now that all estate agents can be found on the national portals - right move, prime location etc, I have found every time that the best service can be obtained from a local agent who is dedicated to that geographical area, one who knows their territory and marketplace inside out. They are not just renting and selling property because they happen to be in that area, they chose to be in that area, and consequently are best placed to match the right buyer, or renter, with the right property. For me, Grosvenor Billinghurst in Cobham are outstanding in what they do in the Cobham and local surrounding area. They operate as a family business where reputation and recommendations are crucially important to them, and they also have the national and international reach offered by the portals to effect a sale or rental as quickly and efficiently as possible.
