We have recently completed on a house purchase in Claygate through Matthew Pierce estate agents. Having had to sell our house in Tooting three times before finally moving to rent in Claygate we had a lot of interaction with several estate agents along the way. Buying through Matthew Pierce was straightforward with high levels of honest communication throughout. Pricing seemed fair and accurate and there was a welcome absence of sales patter! Matthew clearly knows the claygate property market inside out, having often sold the same house on more than one occasion. There were a couple of slightly trickier aspects that the seller had to manage to do with locating paperwork and certificates for work undertaken to the property. Matthew supported her throughout the process, often going over and above his duty as her estate agent. This was really helpful in maintaining progress and getting to completion. We plan to live in our new home for many years but if we were ever to sell we would not hesitate to do so through Matthew Pierce.

Living abroad we were unable to view the property ourselves but Matthew kindly showed my Mum and a friend round the house on our behalf.

The service that I have received from Matthew Pierce has been truly outstanding in it's quality and professionalism. Circumstances have required me to ask him to market and sell a property in Claygate in difficult conditions when I am resident in Glasgow. The current exceptional social climate that we are living through has made it impossible for me to travel to Surrey at any time so all my contact with Matthew to date has, of necessity, been by phone call. Suffice to say I have never had an adviser as professional and efficient as Matthew for whom there was no issue that was ever too much trouble for him to deal with. Matthew always went the extra mile to deliver high quality customer service to me and I was amazed by his ability to stay on top of the detail of my transaction, when he clearly had so many other customers to consider. Matthew demonstrated to me that he has a consummate understanding of the Surrey property market and I had at all times implicit faith in his advice and judgements. I believe that Peter and Matthew are the most knowledgeable property agents in Claygate. They acted on both the purchase of our house in Claygate just over two years ago and its subsequent sale recently. On the recent sale the chain was quite complicated and the sale quite fraught, but Peter and Matthew (Peter particularly) handled all parties with understanding, patience and care...their experience held the chain together and chivied it along at the right times. I can't recommend them highly enough.
