Started off , the guy who valued the house sold the agency to us. They charge a fixed fee based on the valuation, in hindsight he possibly hiked the valuation a little to get more money. They handled the majority of the viewings, feedback was always very slow coming and sometimes vague. They rarely answer phones, you get through to a concierge dept and they pass on the message to the branch. I often called 3/4/5 times before getting a response. Then covid-19 hit and they fell apart completely. The original value was let go, everyone else we had ever dealt with was furloughed. We were passed to an area manager and how we managed to rise to this post I do not know. All.the hard work was done all he needed to do was get us the money. He was hard to contact, slow at returning calls and to be honest seemed to have more contact with the buyer than us and came across as working for her rather than us. Then furlough lifted and the old guys came back, they were shocked that we were til hanging about 4 months after we had accepted the offer. our original exchange date was missed. We lost pit on money and the house we were going to big on because we did not have the funds in place due to this long delay. My advice- stay clear. We deeply regret using them.... Read more
