Yesterday I Rang this company to talk about putting my holiday home ( lodge) up for sale. Was advised after just a few details given that someone would call me back that day. By mid afternoon no one had called me so I rang again to be told again that someone would call me back. No one did. This morning I rang for 3rd time and talked to a guy who said that the number id called on wasn’t the correct one for selling my seaside holiday lodge and that he’d email the correct person to get back in contact with me. I asked why I wasn’t told this when I first rang and he said he didn’t know so my response was that they weren’t very professional and no thank you. Would not recommend to manage tenancy or sale of a property. They had my business for both and I ended up in a awful and costly situation where my buyer pulled out a few weeks before exchange without good reason and the tenant damaged my property during the final 2 months notice (including building their own rubbish tip at the bottom of the garden). Full checks were not done since the property was out on the market (except quick look around while holding viewings) and it turns out Kiln and Lodge didn't even hold the deposit or the keys to the property (but told me they did, as the portfolio had been sold to them) and the buyer had cited access issues before. No real apology from the team, just a "lessons learned" email. Sad to say my lesson was a huge financial one.... Read more

I cannot recommend Kiln and Lodge Estates enough. Scott dealt with our home sale from start to finish which began with a full market appraisal and valuation, this included advice on maximising sales potential with a full marketing package which included professional photographs. The team have excellent local market knowledge that I know other National / on line estate agents just do not possess (to evidence this the “free” on line estate agents under valued my property by 75k so using Kiln and Lodge more than paid for itself) Market valuation was achieved and sale agreed one day after launch and with multiple offers, this following a well timed and well organised open house event. However the service did not stop there, due to purchasing our current property through an on line estate agent (where the communication was quite frankly shocking) Scott was able to step in with a sensible approach to impartial negotiation which prevented the chain from falling apart on numerous occasions going above and beyond during the conveyancing period. Needless to say we are both grateful and very satisfied now we are in our new home and would not hesitate to use Kiln and Lodge for all future sales. Many thanks once again.
