I very rarely write negative reviews but the terrible service we received from Hunter Leahy needs to be recorded. We had a chain involved when buying and selling a home for my dad which fell apart 2 weeks before completion. We agreed to stay in the chain until it could be resolved. We requested an update on what was happening several weeks later and imagine our surprise and anger, when we were told this agency had sold the apartment a week ago without telling us. We then cancelled our contract with Hunter Leahy to sell but my father’s home still remains on their website as available to buy. There is definitely something wrong with this agency.

Where do I start! I was using an online conveyancing company who ended up with a data breach, and were incommunicado for over 5 weeks! Hunter Leahy were in constant touch with me and tried to contact my conveyancer numerous times on my behalf too! In the end, I decided the only thing to do would be to change conveyancer and Hunter Leahy put me in touch with a local conveyancer who did a fantastic job and everything was sorted in 2 weeks! I would heartily recommend Hunter Leahy if you are considering moving house. We've finally completed after 8 months. Would not use them to sell or let a property. They get customers to use the trade entrance around the back even with an appointment and do not apologize when a mistake has been recognised! They also do not do any research to properties regarding parking, and ignore any questions asked, and lie about keeping you in the loop or contacting you with the answer in a timely manner.

There are many Estate Agents in North Somerset, but only one which stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Hunter Leahy in Nailsea are – without doubt – THE best Estate Agent in the region.
The brilliant sales team consists of Gino, Sarah & Connor; all three of them ooze honesty, professionalism and approachability; along with a natural aptitude of understanding the local market far better than anybody else within the sector.
One specific example of the excellent service provided was Gino arranging for a photographer to take pictures of my home with just 60 minutes notice – this due to an unexpected break in bad weather.
On the day of exchange, Gino was instrumental in chasing all of the solicitors within my chain – resolving their numerous squabbles – to ensure my sale was successfully concluded.
Having moved home a handful of times in the past decade, I can honestly say the high attention to detail and super service I received from Hunter Leahy was easily on a par with anything I have received from boutique Estate Agents based in Clifton.
This undoubtedly explains why Hunter Leahy are now the #1 Estate Agent in Nailsea & Backwell, and deservedly so.
