Due to our success with our Cardiff branch, we have expanded the brand name into the heart of Pontypridd city centre.
The branch covers the Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) and surrounding areas including Graig, Graigwen, Maes-y-coed , Trallwng and more. With the help of our property management team in Cardiff, we offer a fully managed property sales and lettings service. As part of the community we have partnered with Your Pontypridd BID to help develop and improve the town centre.
We can offer a tailor made service to property landlords, and also pride ourselves on our approach to helping you take the first steps onto the property investment ladder, or develop your existing portfolio. We understand that your home is the biggest asset you will ever give to someone.

Kelsey Curtis has been an absolute lifesaver. We had been struggling to sell our house for over a year and were becoming disheartened with our previous estate agents attitude. The moment Matthew from James Douglas saw our house he was enthusiastic and encouraging about the prospect of selling it. His communication was excellent throughout and we completed the sale almost exactly 2 months after switching to them. Cannot recommend them enough it was such a different experience to any other estate agent.

I knew beforehand that moving from the south of England to Wales was going to be difficult. Not being able to drive and the distances involved were one worry but I've not been through the moving process for years and my memories of the event..... Well it was just such a faff last time. Multiple face to face visits, payments done in person, contracts signed in person. Well when you're catching two buses and two trains just to get there, I was expecting a bit of a nightmare process.
This move however has been very different. My agent, Hannah, was extremely helpful the entire time, she answered all my questions, assured me every time I raised a concern that everything could be delt with remotely. After my viewing she was on the case the application, the referencing, all the documents I had to provide, she was on the ball throughout. I was always kept informed of how things were progressing, any issues (that I caused by the way) were quickly resolved. It was just very easy and totally not what I was expecting.
Professional, friendly, helpful. Everything you need when you're doing one of the most stressful things you ever have to do.

The whole process was pain free Matt birt was always on the ball and I thank him for dealing with my inpatient attitude with grace and professionalism. Also I have to thank kelsey as before I even listed she was there answering all of my many questions. Great team and great work and great communication. I would use james douglas again without hesitation.
