My house was marketed by James Sellicks (Oakham) and in the first week we had 10 viewings which was outstanding, with all potential purchasers having been well briefed and all were seriously interested in the house. Communication after each visit was excellent and as a result we knew exactly what attracted potential buyers. Caroline was an absolute star and worked extraordinarily hard to find the right buyer. Within 3 weeks agreement had been reached and a sale arranged. There followed significant delays on all sides, which were well managed by the team and my buyer's interest was maintained through regular communication and we were kept abreast of developments throughout. Lauren kept solicitors, the other agents in the chain etc fully up to speed, whilst Henry provided sound professional guidance thoughout.

In sum, a thoroughly professional organisation with a thorough knowledge of their business who really do go that extra mile to get the job done. I thoroughly recommend them for both marketing and post sale management through to completion.

We chose to use Sellicks to market our house, because we were so impressed with how helpful Caroline was when we first came to Rutland/Leicestershire in 2016 looking to purchase a property. Speed forward 3 years and it is time for us to return to the south, so there was absolutely no contest with the agency we chose to sell our house.

The service we have received from the whole team, Henry, Caroline, Lauren and Jo, has been first class. From start to finish they have been completely on the ball and have guided us through the process and soothed our nerves on occasions.

Selling a property at the best of times is not a walk in the park, however this one seemed to be a little more difficult than normal. Not I have to say due to a lack of professionalism from Caroline but more to do with areas out of her control, YES The Dreaded Chain!!!!
Once the sale had been agreed then Lauren really assisted with not only chasing the chain, but also helping us to secure our purchase by providing all the information required for our sellers to have confidence that we would complete.

The property that we wanted to sell was Grade 2 listed, and so we wanted to use an agency that was known locally as a listed building expert. We had also viewed other property to potentially purchase through James Sellicks, so we knew how professional they were at the sales process.
A small chain was quickly assembled by Sellicks, all done in a friendly and professional manner.
The Oakham branch kept us well informed throughout, and ultimately manouvered the chain to a smooth final Exchange and Completion.
So a very big thank you to all at the Oakham office for their support ( particularly Lauren, Henry and Caroline and Jo) throughout the process, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Sellicks services to anyone thinking of selling their property.

I was delighted with how professional everyone was at the company.
I chose Sellicks because of the detailed information they gave me prior to signing the contract and positivity about marketing the property and the figure the property was advertised at.
At all stages of the process of selling the home I was kept informed of progress and follow up on visits from clients who viewed the property.
I was always asked if there was more that they could do to help.
