Our landlord handed us over to jewel in I think 2020 ISH or there abouts...we stopped getting repairs done ,got given excuses and now that we are waiting for a first tier tribunal hearing ( which won't happen for many reasons,one being the absolute state of the house ! ) nothing gets done at all...we asked for the place to be made safe ,for reasons I am not willing to go into on a public forum but nothing can get done because jewel needs to get the say so from the landlord...we are waiting for certain tests to be done by the council now this place is an absolute hazard to life...I'm registered disabled ,I have two adults kids on the property with serious health issues but still the measures I asked to make the place safe which basically would cost virtually nothing from b&q ,till we move to our council homes still don't get done...I have asked on several occasions to speak to the manager as has my husband but to no avail .....no not a happy bunni

I have been with jewel homes for over ten years they looked after letting my property whilst I was living in Malaysia and keep a close eye on things for me and always kept me up to date with everything going on. my house was continious let the full time I was away, due to the excellant service i had received when it came to selling my house I did not hesitate to use then for and as expected everything went smoothly and they also recommended me to a lawyer which was a bonus as I am still living in Malaysia.

Phoned to arrange a viewing - was text to arrange it; which I think is pretty unprofessional.
Went for a viewing today and was there for a whole 7 minutes before another family arrived and we where just discarded to be exact “thanks for coming” and then walked off - no goodbye, no arrangement to contact to see how we felt about the house. We actually wanted to have one more walk through but clearly that wasn’t going to happen as agent had sent the other family in. Very rude and unprofessional.

In almost 6 years of tenancy managed by Jewel Homes, I must say there has never been a day in which I felt left alone, even on December 31st when a problem in the bathroom was promptly solved. Vikki is as kind as she is professional in her work, she has always paid attention to everything. In general, I have no hesitation in recommending Jewel Homes for anyone looking for a house to rent.

You manage 31 McAllister avenue and my mum is down stairs. She has contacted you several times about the upstairs bathroom flooding and coming in to her bathroom..no reply. I'm not having my mum phoning me in tears all the time because of one thing after another with the flat up the stairs. I suggest you contact the landlord or who ever deals with this house and get it sorted. The house up the stairs is causing all sorts of problems for my mum. Water coming through, roughcasting falling off the walls because the landlord won't help with fixing the roof and gutters. This is not on and legal advice will be taken if this isn't sorted out ASAP.

Signed a tenancy last week for a 4 bedroom property. Landlord asked for £100 extra per month also 2 months rent upfront and deposit costing over £3000.
Moved in house was dirty had to pay to have it cleaned ourselves.
Landlord left old fridge freezer in garden for our self’s to dispose of
Roof in the kitchen was leaking brown water also seeping into the light bulb
Land lord turned up without any prior notice which is illegal and entered the property whilst we were out. Just by luck I had came home and seen him.
We are now trying to get this resolved and get our money back with legal
Action as we have received no response or help from letting agency

When we were looking for the best estate agent to sell our cottage it can be a very difficult decision and bewildering experience fortunately I picked the very best agent I have ever worked with as a property developer Jewel homes from start to finish were just outstanding with a fantastic sales rates and their innovative professional selling marketing structure was amazing from the first meeting with Stewart Mathieson who’s knowledge of property renovation and the whole property market place was just outstanding and his invaluable advice was very much appreciated as there was no problem that Stewart and his team couldn’t handle and of course as predicted an fantastic offer was received within weeks .

We rent a house from this letting agent and had to experience really bad service from them.
Since we applied for one of the houses on their site were told that the house will get cleaned, however it was not. It was very dirty with all the rubbish inside left there. We called them to ask why the house its not cleaned and they are usually apologising with an excuse that they will sort things out but they DON’T.
We had to wait for the keys for back door over one month. We were calling them constantly regarding the issue and still nothing.
The ceiling was leaking and we call them many times to solve the issue as one of the places where the water was leaking through the bulb was extremely dangerous with all this electrical going.
When we decide to leave this property we had to wait 6 weeks to get our deposit back and it’s supposed to be no longer than two weeks. We had to call them multiple times without any response from them.
There were many other issues as well.
Please avoid this company.
Help other people by stop using their services
This company shouldn’t be on the market.

The worst agency I have ever seen in my life so far.... The house was in a mess when we moved in. It was "professionally cleaned". That was a lie. Everything was dirty. Leftovers from previous tenants. Light bulbs not working. And the biggest surprise was that someone left us a "present" in the toilet, you know what I mean. And after we moved out we had to wait for more than a month for them to pay us back the deposit, witch we asked for multiple times by phone and email.

Absolutely horrible agency. Avoid! Rushed by agents to exit property and Vicky failed to respond to emails and calls but was advising a very ill person to hide in a room for her to conduct viewings, discusting behaviour! Jewel homes also arranged viewing without letting us know before hand and blamed it on the owner. They are happy to take your money but when you hand in your notice jewel homes become absolute monsters!

Booked a viewing for a place to rent and the agents never turned up.
Very easy to book an viewing over the phone, however difficult to actually have the viewing take place.
Called the company for an update however it seemed to be closed. This was the only number I had to get in contact with them.

Avoid! Whilst I had good tenancy, and found Vikki the lettings manager to always be helpful and professional, you won't get your full deposit back, and your queries won't be answered.
I had believed this to be a reputable lettings agency, and really can't complain about Vikki, but the way the company in general handles matters is open to question.
Contacting Stewart Matheson, the director, didn't elicit a response. It's quite clear the company wants your money now, and isn't interested in anything after that.

totally irresponsible letting agents. they are quite happy for one of their tenants to stay in their home, even though the have been charged with supplying drugs, and continue to do so. even though the council are involved the agent Vicki is not bothered about the situation and is only interested in collecting the rent money every month. totally unprofessional company.
