Great service provided by Gurdev and Harry, thanks. Sold my Mum's house with their help ... it all got a bit stressful towards the end, but their guidance and support was greatly appreciated. Gave me honest opinion of its value and best way to market, not most expensive commission out there either. Thoroughly recommend.

We bought our first house through John Shepherd in Solihull and had a great experience. We dealt mainly with Katie and Shannon who were both fantastic - helpful, professional and efficient. When we had problems with our conveyancers, Shannon helped us to very quickly switch to a recommended conveyancer and sorted it all out extremely promptly. The whole house purchase process happened really quickly from start to finish, helped massively by John Shepherd. They really made things easy for us.
Reason for 4 stars is that we had a bit of difficulty during the offer process. We were refused a second viewing on the property before putting in an offer of at least asking price (despite there being no other interest on the house). We've not heard of this happening elsewhere and the member of staff we dealt with was not very professional. Once the offer was accepted though, everything went very smoothly from there.
We would recommend overall.

If you think of choosing the Estate Agent to sell your house, look no further. We purchased the house last year marketed By John Shepard
It took us almost a year to find the right house and we had a lot of interaction with another estate agents in the area.I can honestly say, that John Shepard were the most professional of of estate agents.
They kept the chain solid and tried to speed up the process by doing things that other estate agents wouldn't be bothered about. Special thanks to Harry who made things to move quicker and was very supportive from the early start till the very end.
If you want to sell or buy a house, feel safe choosing this Estate Agent.

I can honestly say that I had the pleasure of having a very friendly and professional service by Gurdev. She will always makes sure you are happy and content. Her customer service is amazing and she has such a warm energy that makes it so easy to communicate any concerns without feeling like being a pain. With the service she provided I would recommend to anyone.

My son and his wife rented a property from this company a few years ago. When they moved in they didn't think it was very clean so they paid professional cleaners to go in and clean the place.
When the boiler broke down the company didn't want to know and as it was winter they had no option but to get someone in and pay for the boiler to be repaired, as they did with anything that needed repairing in the house. This company does not return calls when things need fixing.
Now my son and his wife are moving. Despite having the house professionally cleaned before moving out, leaving it in a better state than it was when they moved in, the company are refusing to return their deposit.
They are disgusted at the attitude of this company and the appalling way they have been treated by Lorraine Slater at the Harbourne office.
