Dan was a very good sales man telling us how he would be selling our house. He gave us complete confidence in him and really went out of his way to help us put our home on the market. We were initially very impressed with Dan, and maybe if Dan had been the one actually selling our house, we would not be writing a one star review now. Unfortunately he passed the sale on to his new assistant and completely stopped communicating with us, causing undue stress. We were told we could message him anytime, but everytime we did he never replied and just passed it on to his assistant. We were never told of any background with regards to the people who were viewing our home. And she even showed a person around our home who we didn't even know had a viewing booked. Luckily we had our cameras or we would have been none the wiser! Also the few people that did show up, were shown in through the back gate, because his assistant couldn't figure out how to open our front door! Really terrible service, with no communication and made to feel like an after thought. Really would not recommend this estate agency at all.... Read more

I am extremely grateful for Katie at Umbrella, she has handled the letting of my property with the utmost professionalism, removing all the stress of letting a property. As I am not in the UK she has managed everything from decorating quotes, gas and electrical certificates and even a gardner to ensure property is ship shape and up to high standard for the new tenants. I actually cant believe we got here and if it wasn't for Dan I don't think we would have. After putting my house on the market in January and having a few chain collapses I was giving up hope but today we have exchanged and completing tomorrow. Dan has been amazing, kind and supportive and even posted chocolate through my letterbox when I was having a meltdown. Dan took all the stress out of selling our home, he work around us when it came to photos, highly valued our input for the sale brochure and made the day of viewings feel like a normal day with updates on how it was going. The marketing material was great and our house was sold within a week of him first coming out to take photos and video. I’d definitely recommend Dan and Umbrella Homes. Dan came round on a Monday to do photos and an amazing video of our home and by Wednesday it was on the market. Their photos and videos are of such a high quality, they really showcase your home. By the Saturday we had about 12 viewings with multiple offers on the same day. Dan spent the whole day at our home showing potential buyers around and kept us updated throughout the day. By the Monday night (a week after taking our photos) we had several offers and accepted an offer by the Tuesday morning.
