There is no option to put no stars, if there was I would have.
Extremely useless. They quickly take your money and then don't help at all.
I'm not really sure what the secretary gets paid to do as she is an absolute waste of space. She doesn't listen, never replies to emails. She is rude when she does answer the phone, but never gets back to you.
They basically just constantly talk BS in a condescending manner as though you don't understand how renting or property management works so they can avoid responsibility for everything.
Avoid if you can.... Read more

Didnt even make it past inquiring about property on the phone, the person who answered was rude, condescending and audibly bored on the phone and when it became apparent that the property I was asking about wasn't what I was looking for the agent hung up on me midsentences. Avoid.... Read more

Deeply unpleasant and difficult to deal with.
Although the property we rented through Kushy Move was of reasonable quality, their behaviour was not. They charged extortionate amounts of money for move in fees, made harassing phone calls about rent that had already been paid and then evicted us for no reason after 6 months. We have now had to proceed with a DPS deposit claim due to unreasonable cleaning costs.... Read more

If it were possible to give zero Stars it would have been done in an instant. Where do I start with this "letting agency". The eponymous Kushy is self righteous, aggressive and ruthless. He has power, he knows it and exploits every opportunity to be a dick.
Firstly, we moved into a flee ridden flat, and were accused of bringing them in with us. We were forced to move out for two weeks with no compensation.
Secondly, the boiler was broken for two weeks. No hot water, cold showers. After numerous attempts to fix it, all of which involved a failure to check that the problem was actually resolved, we were informed that it was "just one of those things" and that it was "nobody's fault".
Thirdly, and it says something about the london housing market that we had to do this, when we renewed our contract Kushy himself was bafflingly condescending, sharp, and outright rude. When I turned up to sign, I was lectured for not coming quick enough to pay him £150 to renew the contract.
In conclusion, avoid Kushy move as the worst example of the dehumanising London housing market.... Read more

Rented a property through Kushy Move for two years. Property itself was cheaply refurbished and we ran into multiple problems with cracks, damp, boilers and pipes and from very early on though admittedly not a problem caused by the agent.
Most communication is done through a receptionist at the letting agency and it is very difficult to get hold of an agent at any time.
Very short notice visits to the house, occasionally not arranged with the tenants at all. We were a house of four young girls sharing and were shocked and appalled that the agents could not see how inappropriate it was for all-male agents and handymen to visit without informing us, allowing themselves into the property with their own keys without knocking and coming into girls bedrooms whilst tenants were there and unaware of their presence. When we complained they tried to blame whichever tenant was absent from the house by saying they'd arranged it with her and she must have forgotten to pass on the message. With further investigation this was not the case.
Additionally we were blamed for problems in the property that couldn't have possibly been caused by us, such a burst pipes, broken showers, broken plug sockets and leaks.
They also charged us renewal fees but failed to inform us of this until after we'd had signed a new tenancy agreement. They also charge a ridiculous £45 for a reference when you move to a new rented property.
Avoid these money-grabbing, unhelpful and inconsiderate agents!... Read more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I've had money-grabbing obnoxious landlords and letting agents before, but this one takes rock bottom. Maximum charges, minimum support if anything goes wrong. Accused of all sorts, and made to feel both victimised, and blamed for the shabby property's problems (eg- told we have 'too many possessions' and that was 'causing the damp issues'?! For the record, thanks to the insecure rental market in London, my possessions fit in a Citroen Berlingo). Also, constant threat of eviction, home-invasion, charges, demands, and interference to the point that legal support was required. It took a miracle to get our deposits released, and we only got them back because of the godsend DPS being a legal requirement. A great example of everything that is unjust, corrupt, immoral, unethical, criminal, greedy, and down right vindictive and cruel about the London rental market. I hope that in a few years a government with guts and balls will come in to curb these cretinous parasite's behaviour. Letting agents are a cop-out for rich lazy landlords. I'll be publishing an article about our experiences soon.... Read more
