My holding deposit is not refundable apparently and this is the email I have been sent(
Unfortunately with failed referencing we do not refund the holding deposits as per the statement of account that you signed.)
I have withdrawn from them because the deadline to move in was end of July
It took them over 25 days to finalize everything and still asking me more stuff to bring as a result I had to pay full rent again in my current flat .
I can still logging to the referencing company
Everything is thicked green .
And status completed.
I will report you guys to the property ombudsman .
Ps :forgot to mention all my emails are being ignored.
I know that from June 2019 there are no fees applicable.
I have spoken to several estate agents
Explained my situation all of them said

I just bought and sold flats through this branch and the entire team was brilliant. They got an offer on our flat fairly quickly after listing. I’ve worked with acorn on a number of matters and of recent the sale of our property. In what could of been a difficult time to sell James and George made the process extremely smooth and easy. Our house was up and sold within a week and the process completed within 7/8 weeks which is a complete record! They were thorough, extremely responsive and even beat my solicitors to communicating next steps or info! I have never and would ever go to another estate agents! Thank you James and George!

Had a great experience with Benson at the Peckham branch, so much better than other companies we were working with. He really listened to what we were looking for, and found us the perfect flat, and was a massive help in getting it all sorted. Can’t recommend him enough, great guy all round.

The Peckham Branch, and especially Benson, were a huge help throughout the process. After a string of disappointing experiences with other companies and agents (that added massively to the stress of finding somewhere), Benson quickly found and showed me a number of great options and was always on the other end of the phone to help with paperwork. TLDR: Benson is a huge asset and thank you for helping us find our amazing flat.

I worked with James who had a great attitude and was efficient and friendly. As a result I found a great flat to rent and Acorn were organised and made sure I got what I wanted. Now I've moved in, I know I can rely on Martin from the property management team who has also been very helpful. Above all, everyone I spoke to from Acorn has been very professional which shouldn't be taken for granted. Keep up the good work!
