In the sale of my property Barnard Marcus Peckham have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Liam was my first point of contact, who was very generous with his time and realistic and flexible in his valuation. While he remained constantly supportive through the process, from then on Abidul handled the viewings and got an offer within three weeks. The amazing thing about Abidul is that he is always there, liaising with solicitors and buyers and answering any questions. If he can’t answer the phone he calls back at the first opportunity. Mine has been a very difficult and protracted sale due to the first buyers dropping out and a very uncooperative solicitor, but Abidul got another offer within 24 hours, has been a constant support whenever needed, and nothing has been too much trouble. He worked tirelessly to progress and complete the sale against very difficult odds, and always with consideration, respect and humour.

Great experience with Liam, Abidul and Aysia at BM Peckham.We felt that Liam gave a fair and realistic valuation, and had a clear plan of how best to market the property, by launching with an open house. To our complete surprise, considering how long others in the immediate area had been up for sale, they sold our flat at above asking price within about 9 days of it hitting their website and Rightmove. 4 out of 7 viewers had repeat viewings and then went on to make offers. I have purchased a flat that the seller was selling with Barnard Marcus. I think it’s important to mention my position because I didn’t pay them any commission. My experience with them changed my perception of estate agents and Abidul has been nothing but terrific during the 4 months from the viewing to completion. Right from the beginning, when we met, he had a great energy and a firm hand shake, and I felt that things will go well :) He helped me with making the offer and enabled multiple viewings, his replies were prompt, supportive and professional. Liam was also helpful, when we experienced hurdles, his calm demeanour and professional responses really got us through the hurdles. Carla pushed everyone along every other week to speed comms and keep things going. I am thankful for their support and expertise, and they seem like a solid team altogether. If I ever need to use estate agents, they will be my preferred contacts.

The process of looking for a house and understanding what to look for can be very daunting especially as there is so much information out there. However, Kevin was very patient, guided me through the process and explained the concepts to me in a language that I could understand. Traveled an hour away from home for a scheduled viewing that could not happen, due to the flat being off the market since November 2021 (3 months). I believe I was mislead there to view the leftover inventory as I was booked for 3 other ground floor flats (that I never enquire to see), whilst the listing I enquired about clearly mentioned the flat #117 online (which is 4th floor). The ad was last updated March 3rd and still displayed erroneous information.
Called the employee in question and barely got an apology for the trouble, and the ad has not been updated since.

I am so pleased to leave this review as it is so well deserved. I registered with Barnard Marcus and a lot of other agents. The only agent I heard from regularly was Titia and Mark where they showed us several properties. Titia is such a friendly professional agent we actually found it a pleasure to view properties each time we went out to view. Not surprisingly we ended up buying a property through her and the service all round was exceptional. I know estate agents sometimes get a bad name, but we were genuinely really well looked after and found a beautiful property. Barnard Marcus were great and when we sell eventually we will not go anywhere else. Thank you for everything.

They set the strategy for the sale process and we received several offers and sold for just over the asking price. Mark the branch manager explained to me that the marketing process would get me the best price and I believed that this was the best way to sell my home. I initially contacted the Peckham Branch for the sale of my property and had the branch manager Mark Williams visiting my property for an evaluation last week. Mark was very professional and honest in the advice that he was giving me. He only knew the market but also came with a plan to make it work for me. We had over an hour conversation and I was keen to let him market my property. I then went on trustpilot and read the reviews. I felt like we built good rapport and therefore I decided to give Mark a call and discussed my concerns with him aware of my concerns. Again Mark did not try to brush my concerns under the carpet but instead explained how the branch works, walked me through their client management process, how he will deal with my property, the point of contact etc which I must admit felt reassured. We went forward and signed the contract and even arranged for a photographer to come and take pictures. Fortunately my circumstances changed and there was a need to sell my property, I then called Mark again and explained the situation. Again he was very supportive and provided good contact and advice on how to deal with the new situation. I appreciate situations are different but I am glad I spoke honestly with Mark .
I would say it is important to read the review but take your time to talk to the agent and form your own opinion. In this case I am glad I did and I will definitely recommend using his service for the sale of your property. Thanks Mark!

We didn't end up selling with these guys. We initially placed it on the market with these after they had given us what turned out to be a very (and inaccurately) high valuation... None of the members of the team seemed to know what was going on and was very hard to get any answers. Seem very inexperienced (inc the agent looking after ours, who revealed he's just joined from the Car Phone Warehouse?!)
We ended up selling with Acorn down the road, who sold it within a matter of weeks and were pretty impressive.

Bought our first flat through Barnard Marcus and the whole process left us angry, taking away from what was meant to be an exciting time.
We had a string of empty threats including being told if we didn’t get our mortgage through them, our offer on the flat wouldn’t be considered. NOT TRUE. We were also told if our solicitor didn’t speed up (which they didn’t need to) then the seller would put the flat back on the market the day before we were due to exchange. Again, not true.
Don’t fall for these tricks!!
This went on whilst being bombarded with calls from other employees asking us how our property search was going and had we considered looking for a flat through Barnard Marcus.
Barnard Marcus, I suggest you update your system and your sales technique.

Steven recently sold our 4 bed after we went it alone with an online agent, and were reluctant to use a high street agent altogether.
He sold our house in a matter of weeks and in a very tough market, achieving a great price.
He did what he said he would and continued to manage the sale process up until exchange.
I can't fault his work ethic and his ability to deliver what he said he would.
If you simply want the job done then Steven is your man.
