Absolutely terrible company. Asked them to find my Will as I needed to update it and after chasing them up I received a telephone call from them to say they couldn't retrieve it and it appeared lost!! Imagine if I had passed away and my family had needed it for probate etc and the stress this would have caused! They asked did I have a reference number for it which I didn't and said they would 'try' again to find it! I instructed Judge and Priestley to write an updated Will for me which they did in a very timely and professional manner and Wellers were over £100 more expensive anyway. Avoid Wellers for legal matters as I would not trust them after this fiasco and I never received an apology ????... Read more

AVOID. Services are priced far higher than competitors. We paid for this overpriced service as we required a higher level in handling our conveyancing. Unfortunately this was not received and my husband had to constantly intervene and chase for documents on behalf of Weller's. We ended up going with an alternative company who were outstanding and handled our conveyancing seamlessly for 1/5th of the price. I would shop around before considering using Weller's law group. BRACE BRACE. DO NOT USE!! while I appreciate you need solicitors for buying and selling a property being an agent myself DO NOT USE for LITIGATION. they are as bad as the people you are trying to claim money back from and if you use this company you have ZERO chance of that happening. I used James Baird who actually came in from another office but they still charged me for his travel time. Every email I sent I received back either I am out of office or in a meeting and then that email was shortly followed another bill. Advice was horrendous and I was dealing with a so called expert who saw opportunity to make as much as possible. They will lead you down the garden path until they can rinse you no more. I am a local lad born and bred and I hope i never have to deal with the company or the individual again. 1 star is far too generous.... Read more

Please stay away from the Wellers Law Group! My husband and I had a really bad experience with this firm when they had to confirm that we had received legal advice. The contracts were prepared by a different firm. The Wellers Law Group had to only confirm that we had received legal advice. We had to follow-up multiple time with Laura Gadding. Initially a different lawyer had told us about a fixed fee as they only had to confirm that we had received legal advice on the phone. We never received any formal contracts from the Wellers Law Group that would explain their services or fees. Three months later we received a bill that was 5000% more than what they had initially told us. They even charge clients for the time it takes them to prepare the invoice.... Read more

Slow with all correspondence, inaccurate invoicing, fees for emails they receive from me even though no response was given and poor response when this issue was raised on the phone. Very difficult to get hold of and actually speak to my solicitor, often days of ignored calls and emails. Communication is slow and inadequate. They say they will respond to emails in 10 working days but they get too many new clients a month. Who cares about the number of clients?
