biggest rip off merchants i have ever encountered won 2 lots oh dear we have lost one of them please wait 3 weeks in case we can find it. oh dear .we cannot find, refund will take time however won lot will be sent still waiting after paying 20£ .paid 25/10 oct still waiting for my goods 19th nov no apologies. we have your money

takes some doing.
have received an e mail basically making me the villain as they are only human and must be given sympathy, employ competent staff and these issues would not arise. all their staff are absolutely wonderful and beyond reproach what a joke!!!

One of the waste auctions houses I have ever bid beware if you don't pay on time they will raid your bank account and take there money with out your authorisation and then when they have there money because you were late threaten to resale abd if you think that's bad they then block you by the saleroom so take my advice avoided like the plague ray carr

Excellent auction house. We go to many auctions and these are the most welcoming friendly and helpful ones we have found. We will now be regulars. All auctioneers are brilliant clear to hear and go at the right pace imo.

I work on French carriage clocks and have bought many over the years for restoration. I just won one at LSK auctions. I do have to say that their level of service was impeccable.
The clock was exactly as stated on the requested condition report. It was packed by LSK and sent using their courier service - APS. The packaging was excellent. LSK's staff were very professional and friendly. The clock was delivered within 5 days of me winning it and at a very fair courier price of £20.00.
I just wish all auction houses were as responsive and professional as this one.
I most certainly recommend them from my experience - thank you to all at LSK.

Ghosted. Enquired about some land - asked for a suitable time for a call and was just given the number to call. Called and didn't get the answers I needed. Followed up by email with 2 different people, no answer, no out of office reply. Not even an acknowledgement of the email after 5 working days.

Paid for delivery, item didn't arrive! Auction house refunded the delivery charge only! (£150 out of pocket and not items!) Cannot contact delivery company. Shoddy delivery arrangement, do not use!

A good quality auction where I have bought some nice items from their speciality sales.
I especially like their country pursuit auctions but wish they could be quarterly instead of every 6 months.
All staff are friendly and seem to appreciate your custom.
The only drawback is you can't get a cup of tea and not keen on Starbucks around the corner.

We have recently bought a few items, the service was extremely good. I purchased a few heavy items, there was a helpful team helping us load ( unlike some other auctions where they can vanish when it comes to heavier items ) .

Probably one of the worst service I have ever received. I placed several items into the sale and they were all lumped together and not split up and when asked why they said they don't sell that well but to me they just couldn't be bothered. Not happy

If i could i rate this auction with no stars at all. I put online bid 2 days in advance, according to auction page my big is won the item i wanted. Contacted them on Monday morning and found out item was sold for my bidding price someone else who actually was at auction house. What is a point to have online bidding if no one bothered to check bids? Disappointed, would never again use this auction. I will suggest anyone who want buy or sell items on this auction don't bother, read reviews and go to trusted auction houses it's lot of them in the area.

Friendly, helpful & honest. I've been both vendor & buyer. I consigned a large private collection, was honest about what I was expecting but gave lsk full discretion on everything. They did me proud ???? as a buyer I've bid in person & on commission, description of lots is always honest, as are condition reports. Wonderful team @ lsk auctions

Believe the ratings my starwars items where sold well below the reserve priced £500 and sold for £124 when questioned i was basically ignored and when I was told I'd be paid
in 2 days it took 2 weeks. Avoid if you can

I drove there 3 hours from London with items checked before by 2 experts . 3K worth antiques were valued at lacy scott below £100 . A joke place . Be careful .

This is a CROOKED auction house using images of high grade coins they dont have
I purchased a high grade coin for 5k and was sent a coin in much lower grade and damaged, when I confronted them about this it took 10 days to get reply, I was then told the images I sent them of the coin I had received from them was not the the coin they sold me, I have reported them to trading standards, advertising standards, I'm now thinking of taking them to court what they are doing is fraud and a disgrace to the auction house industry

Atrocious service! They sold our item well below reserve price and then sent a cheque in the wrong name without offering the option of BACS. They gave no notice of the upcoming sale, if they had have done we would have pulled the Item due to the covid19 pandemic. Horrid service. The polite and understanding secretary was the only decent aspect about dealing with them. I advise go elsewhere.

What an absolute mess!! Do not auction your items here! Dealing with several people with different opinions, auctions being pushed back and finally our item being sold below the reserve we agreed to without our permission and no contact that the item was being put into that auction.
Payment arrived addressed to the wrong name and yet another incorrect name on the cheque itself so had to be destroyed to be paid via BACS (an option never discussed with us) we were promised payment within 2 days, this is not the case... More like 4 or 5 (if it arrives)
Very impersonal service, rude at times and I honestly feel like some little white lies were told to us. The receptionist we dealt with was friendly and understanding! The single plus point of this company. Please go elsewhere.

Very unhappy customer. 9 x 1900s prints were given in trust and were sold as one lot. £42 received in total for the lot. The two Pears prints should have been sold separately. Won't trust them again.

Terrible service. Completely disregarded our agreed reserve price and sold items for significantly lower. Bundled items and virtually gave them away. Appalled by this company and certainly do not recommend.

I usually buy on the Internet connection but have experienced the auctioneer missing a number of my winning bids when the system has confirmed I have won. Also there is a lot of background noise from other employees of the company that interferes with the reception.

Won a wall clock at their last auction. I was given a very reasonable quote of £30 to have it delivered to Ireland. It arrived yesterday and all I can say is their in house packing is remarkable. Their attention to detail regarding the packing was also remarkable. They leave no stone unturned when it comes to packing as it was packed solid so nothing would rattle or move or break and also put plenty of packing around thr glass. The clock is in excellent condition and hung it on the wall and set it going no problem. The person I delt with was Rachel. I found her extremely pleasant to deal with and extremely professional. With that I will definitely be dealing with Lacy Scott & Knight again and might even go over to one of their auctions one day.

As someone who bids on thousands of lots with dozens of different auction houses I can say I have a good sense of who is ethical and who isn't.
I have only won two lots with this auction house and my experience with them is that they DO actually respond to condition report requests which puts them in the 10% that bother as most ignore them.
My communication with them tells me they are prompt and professional and I have no complaints.
One of the "good guys" amongst the sometimes quite scary world of auctioneers
