    Their customer service is rubbish. We made an appointment to view a property which was cancelled. The agent didn't make sure we got the message. Yes, she left a message saying 'call me when you get this' , we never called, to any decent person this could have been enough to realise we didn't get the message, but she didn't care, so we went, what a waste of time. All this aggravation could have been avoided by sending a simple email. So, if this is the beginning, what's to follow?

    Horrible company to deal with, sadly they do monopolise the lettings in the area so we had to deal with them. All very nice at the start but extremely high fees and once they had them they are rude and very unhelpful.

    I was delighted with the way everything went with my house purchase through Davis Tate. I was a first-time buyer and had just suffered an aborted purchase on a different property (not sold through Davis Tate), the estate agent for which had used some dubious practices and contributed to a really unpleasant experience. I was therefore wary as I came into this purchase, but all my fears were allayed as the entire team were straightforward and fair in all their dealings. They provided a model experience and really highlighted how well the process can go. Unlike with my previous purchase, they'd done some basic due diligence on the house and could give an overview on planning permission and building control approval on the house. The offer process was straightforward and the team helped move it along as fast as possible. After the offer was accepted, everyone was proactive in their communication. Fay in particular provided a wonderful, efficient and no-nonsense contribution in progressing the sale. The process of exchange and completion was smooth and fast. A great experience.
