During my property search I viewed a number of properties with Ben from Lauristons Putney, and found him very helpful and constructive when discussing the various properties and my situation. I ended up making an offer for one of these, Ben was great at talking me through the buying process and the various considerations I needed to be aware of (but as a FTBer, was rather clueless about!) and was extremely quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Ben and Nick continued to be very responsive all the way through to completion, facilitating communication with the various parties involved in the sale. All in all I experienced a really professional and personal service, I would have absolutely no hesitation in using the services of Lauristons again, as either a seller or buyer, recommended!

Lauristons/ Ben Butler recently sold my flat in Putney. I was delighted with Ben (and Nick) who undertook the viewings. The communication prior to visits was great and they kept me well informed throughout. Viewings were conducted by the same people so they knew the property well and the detail of the refurbishment works I completed. Post agreement of the sale, Ben has been great handling small queries both sides have had. I hadn't considered this part of the service but its been the most useful part. I would highly recommend

I would literally give Ben Butler and Nicolas Scott at Lauritsons 10 stars if I could! The best estate agents I have ever encountered. They helped me sell my flat in a very difficult market and supported me through the entire process with extreme kindness and professionalism. Even doing the job of my solicitors at times, they were always on the ball and acted quickly to get things moving. I can’t recommend enough, forget all the other agencies this is the one to use. You will never regret it.

My second apartment rented via Lauriston's within a year. I am very satisfied with the way Putney branch managed my letting. Communication was clear and prompt right from the beginning. I managed to find a tenant in less than a week. Paperwork after that also took no time and all was done online.
Aside all the above what I really appreciate is the way I was treated like a valuable client by the lettings manager rather than just another customer. She is never too busy to answer any of my questions and is always there to help. I highly recommend this agency.

Ben Butler is the nicest agent we've come across in our year long house hunt - he's fantastic at staying in touch and is very open and honest. Its clear during a house viewing that he understands what you might be looking for and suggests doable renovation ideas, and doesn't just suggest things for sales tactics sake. I also appreciated him getting his colleague to call us when we were all stuck in traffic!
We've yet to find our perfect house, but we will stay in touch with Ben as he's clearly an expert.

I contacted this agency through the Rightmove website to express interest in viewing a property they had advertised online. I received an email from the staff asking me to answer 12 questions! I responded to their email, answering 2-3 of the questions that I felt were pertinent to my house search and repeating my request to view the apartment. No response. I emailed them again and asked if they were able to arrange the viewing. Again, no response!

I had a rather urgent agenda and schedule for having to find an apartment near a university where I will shortly be starting to work , and with a family of three it did seems almost a daunting challenge at first. Thanks to staffs from Lauristons, whose services , which ranged from researching, shortlisting, viewing and contract signing, have been impeccably professional that were indispensable to my eventual success in finding a fantastic apartment that ticked all the boxes of requirements that we had initially expected. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to Ms Claire Hamilton and Jean-Claude who were my direct points of contact from Lauristons during my properties searching. Both of them had been incredibly responsive and professional throughout all relevant proceedings. Lastly, it is also important for me praise their administrative processes that are most efficiently empowered by technologies which really set Lauristons different from other property agencies that I have had experienced before. Despite having established a good repor and relationship with Townends the ever increasing fees and their dismissive, non-negotiable, corporate position prompting me to enquire elsewhere. I've had agreements with 10's of estate agents in the past yet I can honestly say my experience with Lauren and has been the easiest of them all. They understand the requirements from the perspective of both the land-lord and tenant which gives you the true feeling they are completely agnostic and only geared towards customer (both sides) success. They are flexible with viewings, offers made, introductions to services etc. If you want an agent who will tell you how it is and execute on what they promise; use these guys. After a few disappointing experiences with other lettings agencies, I was taken aback by how friendly, professional and generally helpful Lewis Hamilton was. Not only did he make sure we found the perfect flat, he also intervened in our behalf in a dispute with a previous landlord, and was flexible in our demands. Best service I have ever had in London.

EDIT: Despite the initial outlook, it seems that only the lettings agents deserve praise, since the property management team is appaling. No boiler for a month, over a month's rent in tenancy fees at the end of the tenancy, £60 to confirm we lived there!...

Lewis was brilliant in guiding us the process of renting our flat, so I want to state that this review does not by any means reflect our opinion of his work.
We moved out of our flat on the 25/09. Our landlord agreed to release our deposit, yet we've still not received it because people have been on holiday or don't have the responsibility to release the deposit. All we've been told is to 'be patient.' Frankly, that is patronising, and we've been nothing but patient. How would Lauristons feel if we told them to be patient every time rent was due?
Again, I want to state that this review doesn't reflect Lewis or most of the Lauriston team, but I do want to draw attention to this experience because it's not easy renting in London when a company is holding on to your deposit.

Looking for a property in London is always tricky, and then finding the right Estate Agent is even trickier. Moving house is stressful at the best of times and when you have to work with an agent who doesn't have much respect for what your after and will continuously ask 'is that the highest you can offer' the process can be draining. But having worked with Alex Kovach it really put a lot my faith back into the process. His understanding and respectful approach was brilliant, he never pushed or showed me anything that he know wasn't suited to what I was after. Alexander Kovach and Jean-Claude De Abreu have demonstrated a very high level of professionalism and understanding of tenant's needs. I have been renting in London for over 16 years and dealt with numerous estate agents. This time around my search was particularly difficult. Prior to contacting Lauristons Putney, was taken to nearly 30 viewings by various estate agents and just couldn’t find the right home. Alex only took 10 minutes to understand exactly what I was after, convinced me to do one more viewing and my search was over! As a dog owner I also found it very difficult to close a deal. Most landlords are not keen on pets and had to deal with agents who wouldn’t even agree on a viewing. On the contrary Jean-Claude was really helpful when it came to making the offer, explained the breed to the landlord and made it happen! Responsive, helpful and very pleasant to deal with, forever grateful and strongly recommend Lauristons Putney!

Lauristons Putney offered to come and talk to the Children at Southmead Primary school for our aspirations day. 'A day in the life of....'They did a great job, they zoned into what the children needed, ran everything by the school and produced an inspiring PowerPoint. Quote from a teacher 'The lady was inspiration and did an amazing job. She made it relevant to the children to ensure that they understood what she was saying'.
