My Review: Take a deep breath I have a lot to off load.. ‘the contract is in the post’ (I never saw a new contract), they turned up on the wrong day for an inspection, then they accused me of bullying because I was annoyed about it, it took over 8 weeks for a (partial – ‘goodwill’) refund of the contract I never saw (at this point they stopped taking my calls) and they twice sent the cheque out in the wrong name then went away to Italy and no one else in the office could write a cheque. It can and often has taken weeks to reply to a question. Charges seem to pop up out of nowhere. I returned a mandate for their bank account changes once, it was put physically in the hands of one of the office girls. She left LBW, I was then sent a letter threatening to charge me a fee if I didn’t return the mandate. I’ve had to ring them up to remind them they had an arranged inspection twice. I’ve been misled either deliberately or down to incompetence over the most trivial of things and over more worrying issues also. This has meant I’ve spent time writing email after unanswered email and it is absolutely unwelcomed and unnecessary stress. They registered my details incorrectly with the Deposit Protection Scheme. Meaning I’d never had any communication from them. Despite promise from LBW my deposit was being returned, they then failed to contact the DPS to get the refund process started. It took a week and a threat of complaint to the PRS to get them to do even the most basic of functions. Their communication skills in my opinion are poor both in frequency, integrity and general literacy. More recently I’ve had to get legal advice when my landlord sacked them before the tenancy was up. It’s been nothing but a sharks smile from them since they first took my deposit from me. Disorganised, unprofessional and really quite arrogant with it. It’s not the 1980s anymore ladies… sort yourselves out. The above covers the period June 2014 to May 2016.
