For renters, go elsewhere. Painful to deal with, zero communication with tenants. Ourselves and our neighbours on multiple occasions had people enter our properties without notice. Takes ages for issues to be resolved and fixed with us having to chase. The best part was when we moved in, there was some human feces in the toilet, remarkably the inspector marked the flat cleanliness as "professionally cleaned" on the report. Avoid

Jack Sharples treated my partner terribly throughout and at the end of her tenancy. Avoid at all costs. Flat left in a terrible state when she moved in, she left it in a better state when moving out. They've tried to blame the previous mess on her DESPITE her having sent them pics when moving in they seem to have conveniently losts or not "recorded". Joke of a company.
In response to their reply below. They are still blind to the issue. Wear and tear does not constitute oil marking left by installations of the radiators! Get a grip

Our main contact was Henry, and he was always available to offer reassuring and professional advice. DO NOT VIEW THE ROOM LISTED IN CAMBRIDGE ROAD, ALDERSHOT!
i went to view a room in a shared house on Cambridge road in Aldershot - the pictures in the advert showed a really nice bedroom with en suite, all newly refurbished. I spoke to the agents who advised me the room was really nice and spacious, and very clean. i put down a holding deposit on the property before viewing because i needed to move somewhere asap and trusted the agents words.
I then went to view the property a week later in person, and it was disgusting, nothing like the photos at all, and not even the same property as in the photos. The place was a state, no cleaner throughout the week, and the tenants clearly do not clean up after themselves at all. The kitchen looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a year and grime was just building up and building up on the sides. The room itself i admit was big but the en suite was a box, no space at all to move, and wasn't clean at all. There was stuff splattered up the walls and broken furniture. Just for anyone viewing that room it is not as seen in the pictures. And i don't know how the current tenants live like that.
Even the agent was shocked when he walked into the property. So much so they didn't even bat an eyelid or argue when i demanded my holding deposit back.
I recommended they take pictures of the actual property and let people see what true state it is in rather than misleading people, and wasting people's time.
HOWEVER - they have posted the same photos as i mentioned int the beginning. pictures of it showing it being brand new, clean, tidy and refurbished with spacious en suite. THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

The sale took quite a few months to complete due to reasons beyond anyone's control, but Sandra was keeping us constantly informed and was actively chasing both parties until we managed to complete. Have used Waterfords for around 5 years now for renting out our properties and always thought the service we received was excellent. We decided to sell one of our properties and choosing Waterfords again was an easy decision. Sold quickly but the buyer was dragging their feet so Henry advised to put it back on the market as this sale was not progressing very quickly. With a week we had another offer for another 10k more than originally sold for, and all the while kept us updated about every stage of the process. I found Ben at Waterfords great in terms of managing the sale of my property. It turned out to be a long and stressful process, through no fault of Waterfords, but he worked hard to get the sale completed and is friendly and helpful, communicating with me regularly and managing expectations well.
Before selling I let the property through Waterfords. Sam C from the lettings team was great but I found, at times, it was a bit hit and miss sorting any issues out, sometimes being good, other times not.

Henry was incredibly diligent as the property I was interested in came off the market as I made enquiries about it. If anyone is thinking about letting with Waterfords I would definitely say steer clear. It's just been trouble from day one, even before moving in everything was left to the last minute and there was absolutely no communication. Now we are finally moved in and there are numerous outstanding issues which apparently just fall on deaf ears. If I had a penny for the amount of apologies I've had I'd be a wealthy man. Unfortunately, sorry isn't good enough when the same bad service, lack of communication and general lack of professionalism is repeated again and again. If the situation was reversed and I wasn't keeping up with commitments I'm sure Waterfords wouldn't accept it. 1 star because zero isn't an option.

Very unprofessional. They’re ignoring e-mails. They don’t keep up with deadlines they set up themselves. They say they will get something done and never do. You have to keep calling them and asking to do what they promised to do. They never solve any problems. Simply worst experience I’ve ever had, and not just with a renting agency but in general. Never ever been a witness to worse customer service. 1 star because it’s impossible to give 0.

What a breath of fresh air Waterfords are! From the get go, they have been professional, thorough and a pleasure to deal with. Elise, who we have been speaking with, has been amazing. The viewing we had a couple of days ago was a real pleasure (a strange thing to say about a house viewing, I know!). Elise was more than prepared, she answered all of our questions before we even asked them. The level of detail in both the handouts and the actual viewing was brilliant, this is clearly an estate agent that takes pride in its reputation!
Although we didn't make an offer on this particular property, I hope we are able to find our next home with Waterfords!
