I first met Mark who was really knowledgable about the property and the area. Furthermore, as I was going to let the property he gave some good advice.
Throughout the process of the sale Guy was always checking in to make sure the sale was progressing in a timely manner.

I have to give Selbon 5 stars , they are very responsive and extremely helpful which is such a contrast to other agents in Fleet who have been very hit and miss in their willingness to help us find our new home. Selbon are a family business and this is reflected in the great service Mark and his team give their clients.
Jake at Selbon was very accommodating in arranging our 1st viewing and the 2 viewings we had were well handled by both Mark's . We loved the house so put in our offer and after a few very enjoyable calls during negotiations our offer was accepted by the seller.
Our purchase was handled buy Guy their Sales progression manager and he smoothed the whole process, which I can say with all honesty was a difficult challenge for anyone , so he has our sincere thanks.
I would recommend Selbon to anyone who is either looking to sell or purchase a home as the service all the way through from Jake , both Marks and finally Guy was great .

I spoke to Ben on Tuesday to put our property on the market. He came out on Thursday to offer a valuation which was in-line with other local firms. We instructed them on Friday morning, photos were taken in the afternoon with the listing going live on Friday evening.
Viewings were confirmed on Saturday morning for the afternoon and before the end of the day we had received an offer meeting what he had given us as a fair market price for our house.
Both Ben and Guy were excellent to deal with, giving regular updates throughout and working very quickly to get the property listed and subsequently sold.

We initially chose Selbon because of the professional and friendly way Mark introduced himself to us and we have never regretted that decision. When you engage Selbon you are getting more than just an estate agent.
From previous house moves we value communication above all else and can honestly say Selbon put ALL other estates to shame in this regard. Mark and his team are available to speak to you whenever you call, even out of hours on occassion. Nothing is too much trouble or too trivial and if they cant answer it there and then they ALWAYS call you back.
We had many hurdles and challenges in our sale and dont think we could have got to completion without Selbon.

Mark C has been great with me from start to finish. Buying the property threw up a few challenges but he handled it with true professionalism throughout. Always on the end of the phone and went above and beyond to get me answers to some questions. When Guy became involved he has been great too, very communicative. Couldn't recommend Selbon and these guys more, they were absolutely fantastic.

I shall try my best to explain how outstanding Selbon have been from start to finish, but I fear I won’t be able to do their incredible work justice.
We instructed Selbon having used two high street agents, immediately we noticed a difference in the level of service we received. Their communication is amazing, I never had to chase them for feedback, and an element of their service that we found so effective was that they called us immediately (and it was immediate) after viewings to give us their initial feeling of the view. I particularly appreciated this having gotten use to expecting a call maybe a few days later if Iucky.
There was always someone available, whether that was for advice, for a viewing, even on sundays and bank holidays.
They have a true problem solving approach to their work, for the very few issues we encountered within our chain, (which were caused by other parts of the chain). They frequently thought outside the box to help us progress our chain to completion.
Around 4 weeks ago, I asked whether we might be able to complete before the June stamp duty deadline, they were honest and said it was unlikely but they would of course try their best, they worked incredibly hard, and we did complete before the end of June. I have absolutely no doubt that our chain completing was solely down to Selbon, and their seamless work with their recommended solicitors- Kirkstall property lawyers. We encountered many obstacles to completing in June and I really felt that we had the best team looking after us.
My only regret is not instructing Selbon sooner. Without a shadow of a doubt they are the best team, we don’t plan on moving again but I would return without any hesitation.
Huge heartfelt thanks to Selbon; Mark, Mark and Jake, and Sam at Kirkstall. Thank you for your hard work in getting us to completion. I hope you get a well event break after 30th June!

I have had quite a bit of experience of dealing with Estate Agents, not all have been professional.
Dealing with Selbon Estate Agents from the Managing Director down has been an absolute pleasure. They deal with you on a very personal level, they are courteous and yet remain totally professional at all times. Their interaction with the potential buyers was inspirational, my house was sold as if it were their property. It has to be said that Selbon's most definitely gave it 100%.
When it comes to communication, as the seller of the property I was always updated (not too much, not too little). If I were to contact them, they replied in a short timeframe with accurate and detailed information.
My house was on the market with an Estate Agent who after four months and very few viewings said "Sorry but houses are not selling as fast at the moment". I very quickly changed and commissioned Selbons Estate Agents and my house was displaying a sold sign within weeks.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my Dad. When he decided he wanted to move, I knew I had to find him someone trustworthy to sell his family home. I am so pleased we chose Mark. He has been amazing from start to finish. He was so patient with my Dad whose 82 and explained everything simply so that he didn’t get baffled with jargon. When we experienced issues with my Dads solar panels, Mark helped me gather the information required and when it came to offers coming in, Mark was liaising with me around 8.30pm on a Friday night. You certainly wouldn’t get that from your usual hight street agents. I honestly can not thank Mark enough for making the house sale an enjoyable process, it’s just a shame we couldn’t purchase through him as the service we received from a well known high street agent was dreadful. I can’t thank Mark and his team enough he has been on the ball with the sale of our none standard property keeping us updated at every stage making sure he had everything in place and potential buyers were aware of the none standard construction. Quality viewings were the key and not bringing in anyone who wanted to look around like other agents had done. He does his homework behind the scenes.

Sold our house for us while we were abroad for a few months. Low key marketing to be discreet about the property being unoccupied. Everything done efficiently in our absence and kept us updated throughout.there were a number of viewings when we returned there was no sign in our home that anyone had been inside. By the time we got back had a buyer with no chain and the process was well under way. A selling price was achieved that we are happy with and contracts were exchanged today. A very good service and always pleasant to deal with.

I put my home on Elvetham Heath with a high street estate agent and over a 4 week period we had some viewings leading to offers over £30,000 below the asking price. After 4 weeks we changed agents to Selbon, we invited Mark Noble to provide us with his opinion on the price and marketing of our home and he gave us the confidence that he could make a difference. We signed the agency agreement on the Friday lunchtime and true to Mark’s word we were live on the internet on the Friday evening. Much to our surprise we heard from Mark late on the Friday evening to arrange a viewing for the Saturday afternoon, the viewing took place and we were over the moon to receive a full asking price offer from a proceedable buyer in less than 24 hours of going live to the market. We really kind recommend Mark & Selbon enough, great advice, great service and got results that the first agent couldn’t.

After a disastrous experience with another agent, we found Selbon to provide an exemplary service. The staff have been responsive and helpful to a fault, nothing has been too much trouble for them - from Sunday viewings through to regular catch-up calls and proper debriefs post-viewing we've kept up to speed and well-informed throughout.
Mark and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Unlike competitors, we never felt we were being talked-down to or fobbed off and the Selbon folks were always pro-active with help and advice on how best to sell the property and honest about the state of the housing market.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Selbon to buyers in the Fleet area. They did what they promised to do - to get us a buyer at the right price within the given timeframe - we couldn't have asked for more.
