We contacted Lighthouse estate agents to sell our property which we have lived in for 28 years to the day today and were very nervous however Lindsay, Kirsty , Simon & Ann have been amazing. They have been so helpful and caring throughout the process not only sale of our property at the right price which we completed on today but keeping us informed throughout the process then assisting us in our Purchase of another property from another estate agent which we also completed on today. Bought a house that lighthouse had advertised on Rightmove. Their viewings were efficient, they answered all my questions and I was successful in my offer. They even arranged further viewings for me to take measurements and offered advise where needed (Simon telling me which was a solid wall like a typical dad LOL). The process of buying through solicitors has been a nightmare but they really kept this going for me communicating with the sellers and even chasing solicitors for me. Be very dubious about renting through these agents. Ensure that you take full before and after photos. Any issues should be pointed out, even the slightest mark that you wouldn't potentially see as an issue. Ensure that the checkout procedure is followed and signed off by both parties. I wasn't aware of this, but it's actually is a lawful requirement. If any issues get you own company in for a quote, and not the agents. Ensure that you have the option to rectify any issues yourself.... Read more
