The worst customer service I’ve received from an agency! I had called to book a viewing for rental home and i answered to their questions and got a booking date and time. As I’m not the one having any income I gave my partners information. Fast forward to today when I was supposed to view the property no one called to confirm the viewing so I did. As we’re actively looking for a house a have multiple bookings I gave the wrong address when the woman picked up the phone and she said that they don’t have any house under this address, then I asked to wait a moment so I check again and she hung up on me!! The line didn’t drop I clearly heard her putting the phone down.
I called back about 5 times more to get through and they were trying to say that no one hung up and that my booking doesn’t exist. After giving her all the details once again she then asks in very rude manner “who is Daniel then?” I said my partner I gave you his information as he will be paying etc she then says that they never booked a viewing for us and that they only have his details. That the viewings took place the previous week and that the house is now gone, even though it is still available on their website!!! Why would I ever call to give you our details if I wasn’t interested in a property?
Never apologised or spoke in a nice manner to me. The worst impression they could ever give to a potential customer.

Shocking customer service. Put an offer in on a house and didn’t hear back for 2 weeks. The estate agent had no idea what was going on with the seller and then said after 2 weeks the offer was accepted but I needed to move very quickly! Lack of customer service, never returned calls and had no idea what was going on.
When I told Keeley in the Kirkby office I’d be withdrawing my offer as the whole process was beyond ridiculous and I didn’t trust what was happening she just said oh ok, that’s fine I’ll let the sellers know!
I would never list my house with these people.

Very slow putting up a For Sale sign.
When the sign needed repairing it was not done. I ended up arranging the repair myself.
They seemed unable to get feedback from viewers. What little they did get was of no use as it did not explain why the viewer was not interested. Vendors don't want to know they have a nice home, they want to know if there is anything that needs doing to induce views into offers.
The vetting of viewers was questionable.
Not a great experience and not worth the fees charged.

Sadly, my experience as a Landlord ended very badly. Unfortunately the tenants were allowed to cause 1000's of £'s worth of damage to our property and it was extremely stressful trying to get them out. Your Move are brilliant at making sure the landlord is fully compliant which is only right. However for me they fell short when it came to the inspections and the tenants being made to look after the property. We were Fully Managed but I found myself having to organise foul drains to be cleared out (3 times in a 5 year period due to not only loo roll being flushed down the loo) and complaints from the neighbour who believed the sewage was seeping into his foundations. If I hadn't the tenants weren't bothered. I felt unsupported by Your Move at Kirkby and frankly terrified the tenants would totally trash the place. When they moved out I was charged £150 for a final inventory inspection, (there was even dog excrement on the bedroom carpet even though they weren't allowed a dog!) They were allowed to leave the garage full of unwanted rubbish, mattresses, furniture, paint pots, garden waste, old wood, old clothes, garden furniture etc and this alone cost more than the damage deposit to remove! This I had to wait 3 months to get as the tenants are allowed to contest this! Unbelievable. I did complain but I was sent a copy of the tenancy agreement which obviously clears them of any responsibility. They don't care so long as they get their cut. I will say though that initially the people I dealt with were great and I feel that as the turnover of staff changed, frequently, things got worse. Good business's rely on good people who care about the job they do.
The team who sent out workmen to do jobs were organised and efficient too but again it's always when it benefits Your Move getting their cut.
Just read the small print if you decide to use Your Move at Kirkby and I would advise you do your own inspections. Also take out good insurance. I had to make 2 claims through damage in the 5 year period. Also we did a thorough redecoration throughout when the property was rewired ( 2 years into the tenancy) and we were able to access the property and alarm bells were ringing then.
We are still renovating our property after 8 months and are very wary of letting it again.
I have added a before and after image from the garden. Anyone would agree it hasn't been taken care of.

Natalie has been amazing to deal with from our first phone call, my partner and I had been looking for a house for a couple of months and dealt with a number of estate agents who came across rude and standoffish, which didn't help with an already stressful process buying a house, however as soon as we spoke to Natalie we both felt really at ease and well looked after. Once we met her to view the house she was very welcoming and friendly and is making our experience less stressful and actually enjoyable. I contacted your move in October for a valuation and Angela was great. She obviously knows her stuff and filled me with confidence that your move were the estate agent to sell my property. The communication was great all the way up until I accepted an offer and then it stopped. From the moment I accepted the offer up until completion there was very little communication and rude staff that would say they were chasing things but were obviously not. I felt as though they were suddenly working for my buyer more than me and caused alot of miscommunication between numerous people. In all honesty I would not use this branch again.

Avoid this company if you are letting a property.
Our property has been with them since March 2021, it's now July and despite the property being let, we have received no rental income from Your Move whatsoever. There is no reason for the delay and they have the money in their account.
I have found their level of customer service inadequate and their response to requests completely incompetent.
Completely unprofessional.
Do your research before appointing a letting agent. I wouldn't wish the experience I've had with Your Move on anyone.

Angela came round to value my property, and she was really lovely and friendly and showed a real enthusiasm in selling my house. After discussing fees and comparing them with other firms , we decided to proceed with Your Move as they were by far the most competitive and realistic with the valuation. The photographer came out and did a fantastic job of showing the house in its best light! The brochure and marketing looked fantastic and within 3 days of the property going live we had several virtual viewings(excellently arranged and conducted by Natalie), lots of physical viewings and a full asking price offer. The team were absolutely fantastic and I had great feedback from people viewing about how good the virtual tour was and how friendly Natalie was when arranging viewings.

What a team at Kirkby from first contact Phillippa listened and understood our needs. We moved up from Cornwall on arrival all was ready for us.
Then Sam sorted all the admin. they both took all the stress out of relocating and went above and well beyond to help us to the point Phillippa gave up her own time to enable us to move in. Then Sam got everything sorted for us to ease us in to our Rental property.

So, my house was sold by Yourmove Kirkby who from start to finish have been professional, courteous, efficient and above all personal. Dealing with each of them was can be likened only to ringing a friend to do you a favour, the team being Kurtis, Natalie, Phillippa and Angie, Angie who did the original introductory appointment and valuation was positive and excited by her job and keen to get on with the process, knowledgeable and through in her details of what they have done and could do for me. In the closing stages, both Kurtis and Natalie especially really pressed to meet a very tight deadline. I used a solicitor of their choice who was brilliant throughout and the photographer was also recommended by them and again excellent. Very friendly chap! So all in all a 10/10 experience and I would not hesitate to both recommend and use Yourmove and their fantastic team again!!

Your move knew exactly what to say when selling their service to me but once I was signed up to sell my property with them they were absolutely shocking. They had appalling communication, either not getting back to me for days or not telling me about viewings which had been booked in. I complained and was assured by the branch manager the service would improve, which it did not. They made selling my property so stressful as they were so unhelpful. When I chose to change estate agents, I went to the office to collect my keys and was greeted with a very cold and unprofessional greeting (by the branch manager Angela, which clearly set the unprofessional standards of the team) which just made me realise I made the right decision changing agents. One individual who viewed my property after I had changed estate agents told me that she had actually viewed through your move and wanted to make a offer, but they never got back to her about a query, which she chased a number of times, and I was not made aware of any query of the property or that anyone wanted to make an offer. Absolutely appalling service and I would highly recommend using any other estate agent.

TERRIBLE - Had an awful experience with Your Move and in particular the branch manager Angela- who comes across professional but certainly isnt. Very poor communication would wait days for a call back. Left the house in their hands as sale fell through first time around and I had already moved to Scotand. They put for sale boards up when asked not to, left blinds open, walked through the house with shoes on, and snapped a key in a lock (and didnt tell me ). I was also told by a concerned neighbour that on two occasions a man and a woman were seen going into my property after 9pm (Your Move was the only ones with a key)....... Angela was very rude and condescending towards me and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. Your Move were the most expensive agents I had out locally so pick one of the others and you will at least save some money as I can assure you your not getting a better service or better management team for the additional cash. Infact I was told in no uncertain terms by Your Moves head office that I wasn't paying for any management of the sale - literally just to get people in for a sale and then the rest is nothing to do with them. Overall if I could give them a 0 star I would. Moving house is a stressful time and this is the second property Ive sold - you need a team who are on your side as the seller - Your Move Kirkby in Ashfield certainly arnt - As Angela told me "your not the only sale im dealing with" and I was even told in one conversation “the vendors are hacked off with you” over a windows indemnity issue. Never put out a review before and I’m genuinely not much of a moaner/complainer but I felt I needed to because of the way I was treated and made to feel. If they are willing to do this to a man in his 30s - I dread to think how they treat others.

Reviewed our mortgage with Your Move and had excellent service from Chris the advisor who helped us through every step, particularly any obstacles or over complicated parts involving third parties. We think that internal Your Move employees that oversee the mortgage advisors are a little over cautious when the lenders have already agreed in principle but Chris ensured this was a minor point also. Very friendly and professional service that we would not hesitate to recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would; the service was not great and felt like I was bothering them when ever I rang to check on the property I was meant to be renting through them. They didn't keep record of my details when they said they had, I had to give my number to them 4 times and still don't get a call back. When ever I asked what was taking so long they would blame the landlord and now four weeks down the line form my viewing I haven't heard a single thing from them other from when I ring them. If you are young and trying to get a first time property I wouldn't go through Your Move, felt like I was being judged a lot.

June 2017 I had an offer which I accepted!!! Fast forward nearly 8 months the house looks to finally complete soon!!! Not due to the yourmove team at all!! If anything they kept the deal alive with there help. I must have placed nearly 400 calls to the team in the 8 months maybe more every call and email was answered in a very professional way and polite!!! I wax a cash buyer and I found a property that I really wanted by chance, I emailed your move on the Monday saying I wanted to buy it, no reply, Wednesday I phoned and spoke to a man who said he would get sombody to call me back, never happened, Friday I called and spoke to a woman who said I would need to view before I made an offer, which was booked in for the next Wednesday, they stood me up, Friday I had a piggy back viewing with sombody else, when I made my cash offer, heard nothing for a week, 3rd week I was told they couldn't sell to me until it had been advertised in the local paper, they forgot to publish the add, and forgot to publish the add for a second week also,
I have now completed buying a house, with a different company, without any of this unprofessional activities. I won't do dusiness with you in future.
