I have found the staff at Martin Kemps, specifically (alphabetically!) Emma, James, Nathan and Richard, to be extremely helpful and efficient. This included managing a tenanted flat in Aylesbury and then arranging for its sale, which was achieved in good time. As an executor living many miles away and never having visited the property, I had to rely a lot on the staff at Martin Kemps; I would heartily recommend their services to anyone looking for someone to manage their rented property or sell their property.... I've been dealing with Martin Kemp for 11 years through being a tenant at one off their landlords property. I've been treated with the up most respect all through that time. Any problems or queries I've had over the years has been dealt with positively , quickly and efficiently. Emma Belson in particular has been amazing. She has been professional from the start and lovely in the process. Brilliant estate agent. Five star's all the way!... Read more

Martin Kemp manages Friary Court in the centre of Aylesbury. Since taking over the management Martin kemp have been exceptional in their professional, responsive, diligent and innovative approach to block management. At least once a year they communicate with all freeholders to check if there are any issues that need to be dealt with. This morning I received notification of enrolment into a new property management portal! I cant praise them enough I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin Kemp as managers for a block of flats.... Read more

Rubbish called them about commercial properties, was told the person responsible wasnt there but would get back to me, which they didn't! left 2 messages but still nothing.. So looks like their clients are getting pretty poor service at best. Luckily I contacted another agent on other properties and received A1 treatment and all signed up now! So Martin Kemps don't bother to call me if you ever do return calls that is! It'll be too little too late!... Read more

We would like to thank Philip for everything he did is getting us moved. Yes, it was stressful as it all happened under lockdown but his professional approach and willingness to help, even on his day off or when he was on annual leave made it easier for us. His experience also counted when he reasoned the buyers survey results.... Read more

UPDATE after seeing the owner's reply: I appreciate the fact that you were very polite and proffesional during our conversation in the office, but I feel that your reply to my review is misleading to the public and this is unfair, so I will clarify. As you know, we had a viewing booked with Nathan for the property on the 11th July. Later the same day, we discussed with Nathan and agreed that we would like to rent the house. Following this conversation, we received an e-mail letting us know we need to start the referencing process, together with the draft tenancy agreement, with the instructions to be signed by all 3 tenants after acknowledging the terms. All 3 tenants mentionend in the agreement signed and started the referencing process, paying the reference and holding fee by doing so. After finalizing the referencing, I was told by Nathan that the following steps would only be for the landlord to release the energy certificate and we are set to move in on the 14th August - so all good.  As a confirmation to our referencing being successfull, we have received the tenancy guide on 16th July, with all 3 signatures from our side, stating that after signing the document, the acency is legally obligated to proceed with the steps for facilitating our move and also, as long as the holding fee is paid, we are entitled to move in on the agreed date and have the house taken off the internet. On 20th July, we have received an e-mail from Nathan stating "I have just had a call from the landlord who has said he has rented the property to a family through a different agent! This means we can no longer proceed with your application". You can imagine how big of a shock this proved to be, as, in order to obtain a reference from our current landlord, of course we had to inform him that we are leaving and moving out on the 14th August, as per the tennancy agreement. Nathan was very aware of this from the beginning. We have agreed with Nathan to see a different house, on 21st July, but, as that unfortunately proved to be not suitable for us, we decided to keep looking. Everything seemed ok, we understood that it was not Nathan's fault if the landlord found a different agent. Later that day, we started our online search for houses again and we happened to find the 46 Blackwater Drive property advertised by your agency on 5 different platforms. Thinking this seems very odd, we called your agency to ask if the house is still available. Here we can discuss about your accusation that we use a false name - please feel free to check the number used to make the call. It is my partner's phone number, also listed in the tenancy agreement, available to Nathan to see anytime, and the name used is the name that he goes by everyday, including at work. I appreciate it is your moral duty and job to stick by your colleague's side, but I believe it is a bit puerile to try and take the situation out of context and make it about the alleged "false name" used for the call. After hearing that the property is still very much available (Nathan quite happily confirmed when we called for a quote), we booked a viewing on the day. When we arrived at the property, we asked what happened, why is the house still advertised, if the landlord already rented to a family. The answer was that the family is still thinking about the house and that your agency still has the house up for rent just in case.As you know very well, we said that the only reason we came to the office was for Nathan to tell us the reson all this happened and to say that we will not go forward with a complaint as long as we get a single apology from him for putting us in the situation of having to move out soon but not having a house to move into, after going thorugh the whole renting process. He laughed and said we will never hear sorry from him. Fair enough.I fully understand that the landlord is not forced to give a reason for not wanting to rent to somebody, but our problem is that we were never told that he does not want to rent to us. Quite the opposite.... Read more

Firstly, let me apologise for not writing this review sooner as I know how important it is. We sold our property through Martin Kemps, in Aylesbury, and received a consistently high level of service throughout. Always answering questions by phone or email and, on the odd occasion that we needed it, the manager was on the end of his mobile. Just brilliant.... Read more

I was meant to have posted this review ages ago but forgot, so sorry to everyone at Martin Kemps. You sold my house for me in 2018 and I just wanted to let other potential homeowners know that if they are serious about moving then I doubt they will get a better service than the one I got from Martin Kemps. I had been on the market with a larger agency when I instructed Philip from Martin Kemps. Everything he said they would do for me, they did. Constant updates, feedback and advice. The move went better than I had hoped, particularly as it was a separation, so not easy for anyone but Phil's knowledge and experience made life bearable. It's very difficult, these days, to actually find a company who don't bullsh*t you or give you flannel but just good old-fashioned service, but that is Martin Kemps. Unfortunately, I have moved away but I've told my friends and, if you're reading this, then give Martin Kemps a call. P.S. I have done this report as I see that Martin Kemps have been named the best agent in Aylesbury again - saw it on Twitter. Justly deserved.... Read more

These guys are amazing. I have switched across to them from a "national" agent who, quite frankly, was next to useless. Martin Kemps, in particular Philip, have now let 2 of my properties, in good time, to good tenants. I find their service to be excellent, constant updates, good feedback from the viewings and sound advice. I was recommended to switch to Martin Kemps by another, local, landlord and I am glad I did. you can see why they win awards. I shall have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wants to listen. Keep up the good work, you deserve all the accolades you get.... Read more

Great job! Couldn't really ask for more. You found me a tenant quickly, at the price you quoted, got them referenced in quick time and they will soon be moving in. Excellent communication from day one, a complete contrast from other Aylesbury agents I've used in the past. Well done!... Read more

Been meaning to write this for ages, so apologies. Just wanted to let everyone know how good Martin Kemps are. I sold my house through them in 2018 and, although it took a bit of time, they kept me informed all the way by phone and email, so I knew exactly what was going on. I found their advice helpful and informative. Martin Kemps are not your average Aylesbury agent. There's no hard sell, just a professional approach based upon facts. We had 4 agents out to value and the range of prices was astonishing, however only Martin Kemps gave us actual sold prices of similar properties in our area. I am now writing this review because I see that they have won another award. This doesn't surprise me - using the old adage "you get what you pay for" is never more relevant than when you employ an estate agent. Well done to Philip and the team and I wish you every success in the future.... Read more

Amazing! My friends have asked me to write this review because they're not very I.T savvy, so here goes. They are tenants of Martin Kemps and they just wanted everyone to know how amazing the staff have been. The flat had a couple of issues over Xmas and they were sorted with minimal fuss and inconvenience. In previous properties they have rented, the relevant agents have often been slow and unhelpful but not Martin Kemps - just did what was required. They would like everyone at Martin Kemps to know that they are telling everyone how good you were.... Read more

Sorry this review has to be anonymous but MK know why. I have dealt with many agents over the last 20+years and I can say, with all honesty, I have never met a more trustworthy agent than Richard at Martin Kemps. The service I have received has been first class. I am an established landlord, who has seen my properties managed by big, medium and small agents in the past but not one of them comes close to MK. In fact, I would go so far as to say that other, so-called big agents, should sit up and take note of what MK offer and provide. Continue the good work, Richard and team, and I wish you every success in the future.... Read more
